The dispenser includes a refrigerator in which the beverage unit(s) are receivable; a respective inlet, within the refrigerator, for each of the beverage units; at least one a dispensing outlet for dispensing beverage into drinking vessels; one or more fluid paths from the inlet(s) to the dispensing outlet(s); a guide arrangement co-operable with the support structure(s) to guide the beverage unit(s) so that each respective beverage unit outlet co-operates with its respective inlet to form a respective dry break connection through which beverage is conveyable on route to the dispensing outlet(s) via the fluid path(s).
Bag-in-box
Provided is a novel bag-in-box having a small load on the environment. A bag-in-box includes a box body including a corrugated cardboard as a forming material, and a flexible inner bag that is accommodated in the interior of the box body, in which the inner bag is formed of a material containing a biomass-derived polyolefin resin.
Bag in box container and box therefor
A container having an outer carton and a collar. The outer carton has an outer wrap portion and an inner wrap portion each defined by a plurality of panels that cooperatively define a rectangular cubic configuration. An opening for a collar defined in at least one panel of each of the outer and inner wrap portions. The collar is attachable to the inner wrap portion and the outer wrap portion, with a portion thereof positioned between panels thereof.
Container assembly for flowable materials
A container assembly for flowable materials, the container assembly comprising: a reusable outer supporting container; and a disposable inner plastic liner; wherein the reusable outer supporting container comprises an outlet pipe comprising a first outlet pipe section connected to the reusable outer supporting container and a second outlet pipe section releasably connectable to the first outlet pipe section, wherein the second outlet pipe section comprises a valve for selectively closing off the second outlet pipe section, and wherein at least one of the first outlet pipe section and the second outlet pipe section comprises an annular recess; and wherein the disposable inner plastic liner comprises a tubular outlet portion, wherein the tubular outlet portion comprises an outer flange configured to be captured between the first outlet pipe section and the second outlet pipe section, and further wherein the outer flange of the tubular outlet portion comprises an annular protrusion configured to be received in the annular recess when the outer flange is captured between the first outlet pipe section and the second outlet pipe section.
Resealable Bag and Method of Producing the Resealable Bag
A resealable bag includes a first end, a second end, a first transverse seal sealing the first end and a second transverse seal sealing the second end. The second transverse seal is part of a weak seal zone of the bag that can be readily unsealed by a consumer by hand. The bag further includes a third transverse seal between the first transverse seal and the second transverse seal, closer to the second transverse seal than the first transverse seal. The third transverse seal is at least partially longitudinally aligned with the second transverse seal and can be selectively unsealed and resealed by the consumer by hand. In one embodiment, a fourth transverse seal is located between the first transverse seal and the second transverse seal, while being at least partially transversely aligned with the third transverse seal, and part of a strong seal zone of the bag.
Spout-connector assembly (ECHO)
Disclosed are devices and methods for dispensing flowable material. A dispensing assembly may include a spout defining an internal surface and a passage therethrough, the spout having a first receptacle defined on the interior surface; a first slider insertable into the spout, the first slider having an external surface that defines a first locking ridge configured to releasably engage with the first receptacle; and a second slider insertable into the first slider. The first slider may be configured to move within the spout and be configured to have a first configuration and a second configuration different from the first configuration.
Dispensing probe for dispensing flowable material
A probe for dispensing a flowable material includes a body having a first end and a second and a passage extending therethrough. The probe has a first engagement portion configured to have a deformed state when the first end of the body is in contact with a dispensing component, and an undeformed state. The probe has a channel having a floor and two walls and is on the first engagement portion. The probe has a second engagement portion to frictionally fit within the dispensing component and to form a seal between the probe and the component. The probe has a locking groove to prevent movement of the probe relative to the dispensing component. In the undeformed state, the walls of the channel are spaced apart at a first distance, and in the deformed state, the walls are spaced apart at a second, smaller distance.
ENCLOSURE ASSEMBLY HAVING A RESEALABLE ENCLOSURE WITHIN AN OUTER BOX ENCLOSURE
Enclosure assembly includes an outer box enclosure and a flexible, resealable enclosure that is disposed within the outer box enclosure. The resealable enclosure has a resealer formed by a single intermeshable closure member that is affixed to and wraps from a front side of the outer box enclosure, around at least one of side edge of the outer box enclosure, and onto a back side of the resealable enclosure. Prior to initially opening the resealable enclosure, the intermeshable closure member is uncoupled with itself. The intermeshable closure member is configured to couple with itself at a first area of the intermeshable closure member that is on the front side of the resealable enclosure and at a different, second area of the intermeshable closure member that is on the back side of the resealable enclosure to close the resealable enclosure.
