Blank for Making an Angle Board
A blank of flat corrugated board is formed with a longitudinal perforation or crease to enable folding into an angle board. A double coated tape strip is adhered on the flat body opposite the perforation or over the crease and a release layer is disposed over said tape strip. After removal of the release layer, the flat board may be folded into an angle board shape with the adhesive maintaining the folded sections of the flat body together.
EXPANDABLE POLYLACTIC ACID-BASED THERMAL AND PROTECTIVE PACKAGING HAVING ADVANCED LIVING HINGES AND METHODS THEREOF
Molded foam articles are provided. The molded foam articles have at least one surface having at least a portion that has been skin-formed for forming a skin-formed living hinge for enabling a robust living hinge capable of hundreds of open/close cycles at angles of up to 270.
Paperboard protective corner and method for manufacturing the same
A paperboard protective corner and a method for manufacturing a paperboard protective corner, the paperboard protective corner comprising: a corner body made of a single paperboard sheet comprising first and second side edges, the single paperboard sheet being folded onto itself to form the paperboard protective corner, the single paperboard sheet including a plurality of folds, both the first and second side edges being received in a corresponding fold so as to be unexposed to an exterior of the paperboard protective corner.
Notched Corner Post for Appliance Packaging
A notched corner post for a package for a product having a first wall and a second wall intersecting at a vertical corner, and a top panel extends outward beyond the second wall to define an overhanging lip. The notched corner post may include a first leg extending upward from a post bottom edge to a first post top edge, and a second leg extending upward to a second post top edge that is lower than the first post top edge to define a notch of the notched corner post. When the notched corner post is installed in the package at the vertical corner, the first leg may engage the first wall with the first post top edge at least level the product top surface, and the second leg may engage the second wall with the second post top edge disposed under the lip bottom surface.
Shipping system for shipping glass sheets
A shipping system for shipping planar substrates includes a plurality of planar substrates stacked to form a pack and a plurality of interleaving material including substantially spherical beads positioned between the substrates of the pack and configured to carry a load. Substantially all of the beads have a diameter within 25% of D.sub.max, where D.sub.max is a diameter corresponding to a size of an opening of an upper limit sieve used in the shipping system. Also disclosed are a spacer for use in a shipping system for shipping planar substrates, a wrapped system for shipping planar substrates, a method of wrapping a system for shipping planar substrates, and a powder applicator.
Panel transfer tray and method for transferring tray using the same
A panel transfer tray according to an embodiment includes an accommodation part which accommodates a target panel, a protrusion protruding upward direction from an upper edge of the accommodation part, and a first movement prevention member disposed at one side of the accommodation part and disposed adjacent to the protrusion, and the first movement prevention member has a stair shape of which a planar area gradually decreases along the upward direction.
STORAGE CONTAINER
A storage container comprises: a storage portion and a side wall provided around the bottom portion, and a hollow region defined by an inner side surface and a bottom surface and having a generally cuboid shape; and a positioning member positioning a rectangular plate-like structural body as a storage target inside the hollow region. In the storage portion, a groove is formed in the inner side surface and the positioning member is detachably fitted into the storage portion. The positioning member includes a joint member in contact with the groove and a contact member detachably fitted into each other. The contact member includes: an engaged portion to be engaged with the joint member, a contact portion having two contact surfaces receiving a corner of the storage target and forming a generally right angle, and an intervening portion to be provided between the side wall and the joint member. The contact portion and the intervening portion are formed integrally.
PACKAGING MATERIAL
A packaging material includes: an outer box that accommodates an article to be packaged; and a cushioning material including: a sealed bag body with gas confined inside; a partition that divides an inside of the bag body into a first chamber and a second chamber each in an equal volume; and a ventilation passage communicating the first and second chambers, the cushioning material being disposed in a gap between an outer surface of the article and an inner wall of the outer box.
Inflatable packaging
Some examples include a plurality of inflatable units that may be secured to an item as packaging to protect the item during transport or other shipping. The inflatable units may be inflated to a threshold pressure and placed at the corners of the item to be transported. In some cases, prior to placement of the inflatable units at the corners of the item, beams may be placed between the inflatable units that will serve as the bottom inflatable units. Straps may be used to secure the inflatable units against the item, and the packaged item may be transported to a destination. Upon receipt of the shipped item, the recipient may remove the inflatable units from the corners of the item, deflate the inflatable units, and send the inflatable units and the straps back to the sender, who may reuse the inflatable units and the straps.
Multi-density skid assembly
A multi-density skid assembly for an appliance or other object. The assembly includes an inner layer of at least one low density material and an outer layer of at least one high density material. At least one fastener extends into an inner opening defined in the inner layer and through an aperture defined by appliance. The fastener provides an anchoring force such that the fastener secures the skid assembly to the appliance yet allows for the skid assembly to be displaced from the appliance without the use of tools or necessarily laying the appliance on one side.
