A corner support assembly for supporting a stack of containers includes a bar defining a corner and having a first end, a second end, an interior surface. A bracket is operatively coupled to the bar. The bracket includes a front end spaced away from the bar and a back end facing the interior surface of the bar. The bracket is disposed between the first end and the second end of the bar and oriented substantially perpendicular to the bar.

Skid assembly for an appliance

A packaging assembly for a home appliance includes a base frame including a first plank and a second plank provided parallel to the first plank, and a pair of spring clips attached to the base frame. The pair of spring clips includes a right spring clip attached to a top surface of the first plank, and a left spring clip attached to a top surface of the second plank, wherein an axial extension direction of the right spring clip is parallel to an axial extension direction of the left spring clip, and wherein the pair of springs are configured to selectively accept a base rail of the home appliance therein.

Protective wrapping for a cylindrical object

The present disclosure relates to a protective wrapping for a cylindrical object, comprising: an essentially square plastic film sheet, having a length exceeding the length of the circumference of the cylindrical object to be wrapped and a width exceeding the width of the cylindrical object to be wrapped, and having an inner face and an outer face referring to the orientation of the film when wrapped; the plastic film sheet comprising two foamed plastic strips arranged on the inner or outer face thereof, the strips arranged essentially parallel in the length direction of the plastic film sheet, at a distance from each other such that the foamed plastic strips can cover and protect the edges of the cylindrical object when wrapped. The present disclosure further relates to the use of the protective wrapping for wrapping a cylindrical object, particularly a reel of plastic film for baling applications.

COMPRESSION RESISTANT PACKAGE FOR WALL AND CEILING TILE
20190210784 · 2019-07-11 · ·

The compression resistant package for wall and ceiling tile includes a first container having a box portion and a cover. An L-shaped corner protection member is provided inside the box portion at each of the tour corners of the box portion. Each of the L-shaped corner protection members have two intersecting legs that respectively extend alongside predetermined portions of the interior wall surfaces of the box portion. The corner protection members have a height that extends upwardly from the floor of the box portion to the height of the walls of the box portion. The corner protection members are formed of a compression resistant material that prevents any overlying containers from imposing pressure on a stack of tiles inside the first container when the stack height of the tiles inside the first container is less than the height of the corner protection members.

Active surface protection for portable electronic devices

A portable electronic device includes one or more bumpers that are operable to transition between a stowed position and a deployed position. In the deployed position, the bumpers may be proud of one or more surfaces of the portable electronic device that the bumpers are not proud of in the stowed position. The bumpers may protect the surfaces from impact when proud of those surfaces if the portable electronic device contacts a surface, such as when the portable electronic device is dropped. The bumpers may form portions of side corners or other portions of the portable electronic device in the stowed position. In transitioning from the stowed position to the deployed position, the bumpers may rotate and/or translate.

PACKING MATERIAL INCLUDING CUSHION

An air cushion having first and second rooms bends at a partition at a corner of a multi-function peripheral (MFP) and contacts a first face of the MFP at a first room outer surface and a second face of the MFP at an second room outer surface. An outer case applies pressure to the outer surfaces of the first and second rooms and presses the first and second rooms to the MFP. When the first room receives a force from outside the outer case, gas moves from the first room to the second room against pressure the outer case applies to the second room, such that a side wall of the outer case contacting the second room deforms. Upon removal of the force, the side wall returns to an original flat state and presses the second room, such that the gas returns from the second room to the first room.

PACKING MEMBER

A packing member attached to an article to be packed, which is accommodated in a package box, to absorb an impact applied to the article, including: a first supporting part; a second supporting part; and a shock absorbing member connected to the first supporting part and the second supporting part. One of the first supporting part and the second supporting part is disposed so as to be partially in contact with the article in a state in which an impact is not applied. When an impact is applied, the shock absorbing member deforms to absorb the impact.

PACKING BUFFERING DEVICE
20190106259 · 2019-04-11 ·

A packing buffering device adapted to surrounding a plate device includes a first hollow connecting rod having a first body, a first connecting portion, and a first fixing portion and a second hollow connecting rod having a second body, a second connecting portion, and a second fixing portion. The first connecting portion and the first fixing portion are respectively extended and bent from two opposite ends of the first body and in contact with the frame of the plate device. The second connecting portion and the second fixing portion are respectively extended and bent from two opposite ends of the second body and in contact with the frame of the plate device. The first body and the second body are above the plate device and not in contact with the plate device. The distance between the fixing portions is less than the distance between the connection portions.

PACKAGING CORNER PROTECTION SYSTEM
20190106260 · 2019-04-11 ·

A packaging corner protecting device for objects having edges, the device having an arcuate center and a first and a second arm. The center portion has a longitudinal axis, a length, a first thickness and is formed as about 270 of a cylinder. Each arm is integrally joined to the center portion substantially the length of the center portion, the arms each having a proximate end and an opposed distal end. The arms each having a cross section tapering from a first thickness at its proximate end to a second thickness at the distal end. The arms each having an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surfaces of each arm lie in planes orthogonal to one another that intersect the longitudinal axis of the center portion. The arms both extend the same distance from the center portion. The device is made from a plastic material comprising high-density polyethylene.
