A vacuum bag includes a base; a peripheral wall formed on an edge of the base and including an opening and a plurality of sides; and a vacuum device disposed on one of the sides of the peripheral wall and including a first non-stick member on an inner surface of one of the sides of the peripheral wall, and at least one second non-stick member each disposed on an inner surface of one of the remaining sides of the peripheral wall.
Packaged frozen cubes of cannabis juice purée with added decarboxylated cannabis material
Packaged frozen cubes of Cannabis juice purée having decarboxylated cannabinoids are provided. First, raw Cannabis material is collected. Next, the Cannabis material is blended with water, fruit juice, or vegetable juice and thickening agent to form Cannabis juice purée. Next, the purée is poured into molds having an identical size and shape. Decarboxylated/non-decarboxylated high concentrate Cannabis extract or decarboxylated Cannabis infusion is added to the molds. Next, the tray is frozen to obtain frozen cubes of Cannabis juice purée. Next, the cubes are removed from the tray and are packaged in a vacuum sealed bag. A dispensary can store the package in a freezer until distribution. The package includes a label describing amounts and types of cannabinoids present in each cube. A consumer opens the package and deposits a desired amount of cubes into a blender along with other ingredients to form a beverage with non-decarboxylated cannabinoids.
ESTIMATING A CHARACTERISTIC OF A FOOD ITEM
A computerised device, cooking appliance, cooking system, method and one computer-readable medium are disclosed for estimating one or more characteristics of a food item. In one aspect, the cooking system includes: a computing device configured to: receive image data indicative of indicia on or about a food item; process the image data to determine a location or distortion of the indicia in three-dimensional (3D) space; and determine the one or more characteristics of the food item based at least in part on the location or distortion of the indicia; and a cooking appliance, including: one or more cooking components; and at least one processor configured to: receive the cooking program from the computing device; and control the one or more cooking components according to the cooking program.
Vacuum packaging and sealing appliance
The invention comprising an appliance for vacuum sealing a bag member. The appliance has a housing including a front wall, a rear wall, and two side walls. The front wall includes an opening for receiving an open top portion of the bag member, where the bag member can then be received within a drip tray placed within a cavity located within the housing, where vacuum pressure may be applied. The drip try includes a barrier member that extends upwardly at a rear portion to redirect the open top portion of the bag member into the drip tray when the bag member has been inserted into the opening. The cavity also includes a heating bar used to apply a seal to the open top portion of the bag member. The front wall of the housing is angled between 15° and 45° relative to a surface on which the appliance rests.
Packaging method and transport packaging as well as a drone for receiving the packages
The invention relates to a packaging method, a transport package, and use of the packaging method for transporting products by means of a drone. According to the invention, a product to be packaged is placed in an open inner wrapping that is pretensioned on elastic traction cables in order to hold the product approximately centrally in an outer package. After insertion, the wrapping is closed and evacuated until it lies tightly against the product, and the traction cables are thereby further tensioned.
SHELF STABLE POTATO PRODUCT
A shelf stable potato/sweet potato french fry product packaged in a hermetically sealed flexible bag/pouch without the need for a surrounding acidic solution has been disclosed. Such product has a lower pH, preferably below 4.6, with enhanced taste and texture profile features, such as: (a) 0% -2% fat content, (b) a hardness of the exterior layer between 350 gram to 2500 gram after frying, that allows for little to no need for battering of such products, and (c) a moisture content above 55%. These benefits are typically obtained by processing the pre-cut potato via a single-step processing technique which may or may not require pre-processing steps.
Multilayer structure and method for producing same, coating liquid, packaging material, and protective sheet for electronic devices
The present invention relates to a multilayer structure including a base (X) and a layer (Y), wherein the layer (Y) includes an aluminum-containing compound (A) and a phosphorus compound (BH) in which a phosphorus atom having at least one hydroxy group and a polar group are bonded via an alkylene chain having 3 to 20 carbon atoms or a polyoxyalkylene chain based on an alkylene having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, and the aluminum-containing compound (A) is a compound (Ab) including a reaction product (D) of an aluminum-containing metal oxide (Aa) and an inorganic phosphorus compound (BI).
Packaged raw cannabis powder
A raw cannabis powder is formed and packaged for convenient and low-cost access to raw cannabis. First, raw cannabis material having a pre-determined ratio of cannabinoids is collected. Next, the raw cannabis material is dried. Next, the dried raw cannabis material is grinded to obtain a finely ground powder. Next, the raw cannabis powder is packaged into a container. High concentrate cannabis extract is optionally added to increase potency of cannabinoids. Instructions are provided that instruct a consumer on amounts and types of cannabinoids, dosing and serving sizes for consuming the powder in its raw non-decarboxylated form, dosing and serving sizes for a decarboxylated (heated) version of the powder, and how to decarboxylate the cannabinoids within the powder. A consumer purchases the container of raw cannabis powder and adds the raw cannabis powder to food or beverages, consumes the powder directly, or decarboxylates the powder and consumes the decarboxylated powder.

A shipping system for shipping planar substrates includes a plurality of planar substrates stacked to form a pack and a plurality of interleaving material including substantially spherical beads positioned between the substrates of the pack and configured to carry a load. Substantially all of the beads have a diameter within 25% of D.sub.max, where D.sub.max is a diameter corresponding to a size of an opening of an upper limit sieve used in the shipping system. Web of cleaning products having a modified internal atmosphere and method of manufacture
A web of cleaning products and a method of manufacturing the same is disclosed. The web includes first and second carrier sheets and a plurality of pouches containing a cleaning composition. Each of the pouches is disposed in a respective depression formed in an upper surface of the first carrier sheet. A first internal atmosphere is enclosed within each of the pouches. The first carrier sheet is sealed to the second carrier sheet such that a second internal atmosphere exists between the second carrier sheet and the plurality of pouches. The second internal atmosphere has a greater absolute pressure than the first internal atmosphere so that the plurality of pouches and at least a portion of the cleaning composition in the plurality of pouches are compressed into the plurality of depressions in the first carrier sheet by the second internal atmosphere.
