APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR MODIFIED ATMOSPHERE PACKAGING
The present invention pertains in general to an apparatus and method for the modification of atmosphere in the packaging of perishable items, such as food items, for increased longevity. Embodiments include apparatus and methods which provide a customizable mix of gasses dependent upon the food being stored, and process for the monitoring of estimated pressurized gas canisters remaining within a vessel providing pressurized gasses.
Valve assembly for a food storage container
A valve assembly for use on a food storage container including an opening formed in the lid member, at least one air hole formed adjacent thereto, a valve member extending through the lid opening having a portion thereof extending over the at least one air hole when the valve member is in its closed position, the valve member being movable to an open position wherein the portion of the valve member extending over the at least one air hole is at least partially uncovered from the at least one air hole when a vacuum is generated within the storage container, and a vacuum release button engageable with the valve member and movable from a first position wherein the valve member remains in its closed position to a second position wherein the valve member is moved to its open position for releasing the vacuum generated within the storage container.
VALVE AND VACUUM STORAGE BAG EQUIPPED WITH THE VALVE
A valve for one-way transfer of air from vacuum storage bags, including a body, a flat diaphragm made of a flexible material, and a holder for securing the diaphragm to the body; a central portion of the body includes an air passage; the diaphragm has a first position where the air passage is covered by a central portion of the diaphragm thus blocking air flow through the air passage, and a second position where the central portion of the diaphragm is reversibly moved away from the air passage thus allowing air flow through the air passage; the diaphragm is secured between the body and the holder, at its three or more distinct edge portions of the diaphragm. A vacuum storage bag equipped with the valve.
VACUUM PRESERVATION DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a vacuum preservation device, comprising a drawer including a drawer panel at the front end of the drawer, and a handle assembly. A The handle assembly is coupled to the drawer panel, wherein the handle assembly includes a door body sealing member and a handle. A preservation container body comprises a preservation container body fixing part and a preservation container body sliding part. An electric push rod is coupled to the preservation container body and is coupled to the preservation container body sliding part and to the preservation container body fixing part.
Vacuum sealed container and method
The present application discloses a vacuum sealed container, including a container body, a container lid, a vacuum generator and at least one magnifier. The container body includes a first wall and a bottom surface, wherein the first wall and the bottom surface define an accommodation space. The container lid is coupleable to the container body. The vacuum generator coupled to the container lid to evacuate fluid from the accommodation space. The at least one magnifier coupled to the bottom surface of the container body and are molded integrally. In addition, the at least one magnifier and the bottom surface of the container body are light-permeable, wherein the at least one magnifier is a lens. A method for using the aforementioned vacuum sealed container is also disclosed.
VACUUM-SEALED CONTAINER
The invention relates to a vacuum-sealed container comprising: a container body (10); a container cover (20) having hinge portions (22); a handle (30) comprising a pair of rotating cylinders (31) having first ends rotatably coupled to respective hinge portions (22) of the container cover (20) and having channels (34, 35) to communicate with the container body (10), a pair of elevating bars (36) coupled to second ends of respective rotating cylinders (31) to be able to move upward/downward, and a connecting bar (37) for connecting the elevating bars (36), a ventilation channel (38) formed in at least one rotating cylinder (31) or in the elevating bar (36); a first check valve (40) that opens/closes first ends of the channels (34, 35) of the handle (30) as the elevating bars (36) of the handle (30) move upward/downward; and a second check valve (50) that opens/closes the ventilation channel (38).
Seal Integrity Indicators for Sterilization Containers
Indicators for indicating the integrity of a seal of a sterilization container are provided. For example, a seal indicator may indicate whether the container is sufficiently sealed to prevent an ingress of contaminants into the container. If the container is sufficiently sealed, the seal indicator is in one state and displays a first indicium, and if the sterilization container is not sufficiently sealed, the seal indicator is in another state and displays a second indicium. Thus, the seal indicator undergoes a visible change in state when the sterilization container transitions from unsealed to sealed, such that the user may be assured that the container is properly sealed to maintain sterility of the articles post-sterilization. Further, the seal indicator undergoes a visible change in state if the seal is subsequently broken, to signal to the user that the seal and the sterility of the container interior has been compromised.
Shape-formable apparatus comprising locking sheets
A shape-formable apparatus comprising locking sheets. The apparatus can have a first state in which the apparatus is formable, and a second state in which the apparatus has the desired shape and is substantially less formable than in the first state. The apparatus can further include an envelope defining a chamber, a port positioned to fluidly couple the chamber with ambience, and at least two locking sheets positioned in the chamber in an at least partially overlapping configuration. Each locking sheet comprises a major surface, and at least a portion of each locking sheet can be patterned to include solid regions and open regions, the solid regions being movable with respect to one another within the major surface.
Storage containers including selective compression levels
A container (jar, for instance) with a lid device that applies selected levels of vacuum sealing to allow for different shelf-storage results on demand is disclosed. Such a lid includes a mechanical compression pump mechanism that applies different pressures in relation to external controls as well as indicators denoting such pressure levels upon operation. Such a resultant container thus allows a user to place perishable items therein and determine the level of seal thereto in relation to desired levels of firmness, freshness, or other shelf-storage result over a certain time period. The device further allows for opening, removal of perishable items therefrom, and resealing to a desired compression level thereafter with remaining items or new items in place. Such a device is particularly useful for Cannabis, CBD, tobacco, and other like items.
Method of installation of a vacuumed controlled level sensing liquid dispensing system and use thereof
A gravity flow liquid disinfectant dispensing reservoir comprised of a tapered base and a neck portion that extends centrally from the reservoir. An aperture located on the bottom of the reservoir facilitates the dispensing of liquid (i.e., disinfectant) from the reservoir into a holding tank. In another embodiment, a closed system for dispensing a liquid disinfectant into a tank containing liquid (effluent) and controlled via vacuum. The gravity flow device introduces disinfectant to the tank as the water level rises, giving the ultimate amount of contact time for treatment of effluent. Utilizing gravity and vacuum controlled dispensing of disinfectant dispenses disinfectant continuously and automatically in real time and provides for maximum contact time for minimal pathogen survival.
