ARTICLES AND METHODS FOR IMPROVED PACKAGING AND STORAGE OF CONSUMER PRODUCTS HAVING AN AROMA
Provided herein is a degassing valve for a consumer product (e.g., a dry foodstuff, a cannabis-containing medicinal or recreational product, etc.) that has an enticing or pleasant aroma. Such a valve includes a valve body, a one-way valve element positioned on the valve body, and, preferably, a filter associated with said valve body wherein the filter is configured to facilitate the passage of a gas. The gas may be selected from the group consisting of air, carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen, and methane, or mixtures thereof. Additionally, the gas contains one or more aroma-conferring volatile molecule species responsible for the aroma characteristic of the product. The filter of the valve body may include activated charcoal, an activated charcoal mixture or a combination thereof. In some embodiments, the consumer product is a dry foodstuff such as flavored or seasoned breadcrumbs, spices, marijuana-containing products, or other flavorful consumer product, the aroma(s) of which can provide an important marketing benefit.
Flexible packages with clog resistant degassing valve and methods of making the same
A flexible package with a one-way, pressure-equalizing or degassing valve and method of making the same is provided. The package includes a tortuous path preventing particulate materials, e.g., fine powders, from clogging or interfering with opening and closing of said valve. The package includes a heat seal including discontinuities or gaps which defines a tortuous path between the valve and the compartment within the package in which the particulate material is located, allowing air and internal gases trapped in the package to escape through the valve while preventing fine powders, dust and particulate from reaching the valve body by trapping or collecting them in the tortuous path.
Sealed pressure container
The disclosure relates to a sealed pressure container, which solves the problem in the prior art that a pump is required for providing air pressure in the container. The conventional product is inconvenient for carrying and is expensive. The sealed pressure container includes a body and a winding member. The body has an open end and a flexible portion, the flexible portion is at least one part of the body at one side where the open end is formed. The flexible portion can be wound around the winding member from the open end to provide air pressure in the body by compressing the air inside the body. Thus, without using a pump, tennis balls can be prevented from releasing pressure by keeping in the low-cost sealed pressure container. The sealed pressure container is convenient for carrying and operating and has reduced manufacture cost.
Pack for tobacco articles provided with a sealed wrap with an inner pressure that is different from the atmospheric pressure and relative wrapping method
A pack provided with: a group of tobacco articles; and a sealed wrap, which encloses the group of tobacco articles, has a pull-out opening for the tobacco articles, has an inner pressure that is different from the atmospheric pressure, and consists of a heat-sealable sheet of wrapping material, which is folded around the group of tobacco articles and is stabilized by means of heat-sealing.
PACKAGING ASSEMBLY FOR THE TRANSPORT AND STORING OF ROASTED COFFEE AND METHOD FOR PACKAGING ROASTED COFFEE BEANS
Packaging assembly for the transport of coffee in the form of roasted beans, comprising: at least one impermeable bag, impermeable at least to oxygen and water vapour; said at least one impermeable bag being flexible and sealable in a watertight manner to prevent the introduction of fluids or gases; at least one unidirectional valve sealingly applied to said at least one impermeable bag which only allows gas to escape from the impermeable bag preventing the entry of gas into the impermeable bag, wherein said at least one unidirectional valve makes it possible to achieve an over-pressure inside the impermeable bag variable from 3 to 60 mbar.
DISPOSABLE CONTAINER FOR SMALL PARTS IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY
A container for filling, processing, transporting, storing, transferring, etc., of small parts for the pharmaceutical industry consists of a preformed, flexible container which has a predefined spatial shape and the form of which is changed by larger pressures due to its flexibility such that it may support enough pressure (e.g. 50-500 mbar) over a larger period (e.g. 1 year) in order to ensure the integrity of the content.

Facility and method for producing a container loaded with a biopharmaceutical fluid
A facility (1) for producing a container loaded with a biopharmaceutical fluid, includes: a container (2) wherein a biopharmaceutical fluid is placed (B); a control module (9) for controlling the filling of gas into the container (2); and an analysis module (10) for estimating a parameter for controlling the gas filling; and a pumping device (40) for generating a depression in the inner filling space (Vg).
Package system for packaging and administering controlled dosages of chemical agents
A package system is disclosed for dispensing controlled amounts of a chemical agent. The package system includes an outer package that is generally gas and liquid impermeable. The outer package contains an inner package made from a degradable material, such as a material that is water degradable. The inner package contains a measured amount of a chemical agent. The chemical agent may be difficult to handle and may have corrosive properties, may be an oxidizer, or the like. The package system facilitates dispensing the chemical agent into a particular environment. In one embodiment, the package system is designed to hold a chemical agent for treating recreational water sources, such as swimming pools.
