A method of making a pack for food comprising the following steps. Forming a tray by providing a tray laminate comprising a fibrous web (21) bonded to a web of a gas barrier film (20) comprising a multi-layer laminate comprising a heat sealable layer and a gas barrier layer. Vacuum and/or thermoforming the laminate to create a tray with an upstanding rim. Filling the tray with a food product (F). Providing a web of lid film (13), the lid film (13) being a gas barrier film comprising a multi-layer laminate comprising a heat sealable layer and a gas barrier layer. Heat sealing the lid film (13) to the gas barrier film of the tray around the periphery of the tray to create a hermetic seal between the two barrier films. Severing the pack from the webs of material.

A closure for a container. The closure includes a carbon dioxide emitter, and a release rate control layer that is configured to control release of carbon dioxide from the carbon dioxide emitter into the container when the closure is coupled to the container.

Method for charging gas into cassette pod

A method for transporting a cassette pod for containing semiconductor waters is provided. The method includes transporting a cassette pod configured to receive a semiconductor wafer with a transporting apparatus. The method further includes supplying a gas from a cylinder into a housing of the cassette pod. The cylinder is externally positioned on the housing. The method also includes detecting a gas pressure in the cylinder with a detection element. In addition, the method includes issuing a signal to the transporting apparatus when the gas pressure in the cylinder is lower than a predetermined limit.

Procedure for Manufacturing a Laminated Package for Solid Products in Powder or Grain Form, as Well as a Package Obtained by This Procedure

A VEGETABLE BOX CAPABLE OF PRESERVING THE PRODUCTS IN A FRESH STATE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME BY EXCHANGING THE AIR COMPOSITION IN THE BOX
20190327986 · 2019-10-31 · ·

The invention relates to a vegetable box which is capable of preserving the products in the box in a fresh state and for an extended period of time by exchanging the air composition inside the box via the respiration and photosynthesis of the fresh fruits/vegetables, and thus ensuring the oxygen and/or carbon dioxide to reach the target partial pressure and stabilizing the same at these values. The invention is characterized by comprising a lock sensor (6) which is arranged in the internal portion of the body (1) at the section where the body (1) contacts with the cover (2) and which senses the opening/closing of the cover (2); a gas sensor (7) which is disposed inside the body (1) and which measures the partial pressure of the oxygen and/or carbon dioxide gases inside said body (1), and then informs the control unit (9) of the obtained pressure values; and an electronic control unit (9) which, using the information from the lock sensor (1) and gas sensor (7), activates/deactivates the lighting unit (8) and which is disposed in the body (1).

Automatic Preservative Gas Replenishing System
20190315548 · 2019-10-17 ·

An automatic replenishing system for automatically replenishing preservative gas within a compressible bladder for supply to the inner volume of a vessel. A compressible bladder has an outer wall and an inner volume. A supply conduit receives preservative gas from a source, and a discharge conduit supplies preservative gas to a vessel. An inflation detection system detect a first condition wherein the compressible bladder is inflated to a state of inflation and a second condition wherein the compressible bladder is inflated below the state of inflation. A valve system is operative to prevent preservative gas from flowing from the source of preservative gas and into the compressible bladder when the compressible bladder is in the first condition and to permit preservative gas to flow from the source of preservative gas and into the compressible bladder when the compressible bladder is in the second condition.
