Package, apparatus and process of manufacturing such a package
A package includes a support and a closing film. The support has a supporting portion that receives a product, a perimetral edge surrounding the supporting portion, a gripping portion extending away from the opposite side of the supporting portion, a removable portion extending from the supporting portion. The closing film engages a portion of the perimetral edge and, with the support, defines a housing compartment for the product. The closing film comprises a first film portion engaged with the removable portion and a second film portion engaged with the gripping portion. When the package is opened, the removable portion at least partly separates from the support together with the first film portion and the second film portion remains engaged with the gripping portion of the support.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR TRANSPORTING LIVE INSECTS
Systems and methods for transporting live insects in a secure and environmentally controlled manner. The systems include containers and packaging for transporting the live insects at a controlled temperature and pressure.
MODIFIED ATMOSPHERE PACKAGING CONTAINERS
A modified atmosphere container is provided. The container contains a body for receiving a product, a lid configured to provide a seal with a body opening, and a cartridge having a defined internal space. An active agent for preserving the freshness of the product may be disposed within the cartridge.
CONTAINER ASSEMBLIES WITH PAPER-BASED END CLOSURES
The present disclosure is directed to recyclable, composite container assemblies with improved characteristics resulting from a combination of raw materials, structural design, systems, and methods for sealing a paper-based closure to a paper-based container body. The container assemblies demonstrate superior performance and seal properties, such as very low oxygen transmission rates and high resistance to bulging and/or damage due to high pressure differentials. The disclosed container assemblies, manufactured at high speeds, have been optimized by increasing the shelf-life of food products stored therein, while minimizing any non-paper materials such that the container assemblies qualify as recyclable mono-material.
Configurable container
A configurable storage container system for storing items includes a tote, an insulated shell with a lid, and an insulated divider configured to divide the internal cavity of the tote into two sections. The insulated shell is configured for receiving the tote. The insulated shell includes a base and a plurality of side walls and is foldable between an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration such that the tote fits inside the insulated shell when the insulated shell is in the expanded configuration. The lid is configured for closing the tote inside the insulated shell when the insulated shell is in the expanded configuration.
ELEMENT FOR MOISTURE CONTROL IN A CONTAINER
The present invention refers to an element (E) for moisture control and to the use of said element for preserving substrates in controlled moisture conditions.
METHOD OF PACKAGING SHELLFISH
A method of packaging live shellfish, the method including placing live shellfish in a sealable receptacle, inserting an oxygen-enriched, aqueous-based liquid medium in the receptacle in an amount that permits a gaseous-phase headspace within the receptacle, inserting a gas in the receptacle, the gas including oxygen, wherein the gas is inserted in an amount to fill the receptacle headspace with the gas, and sealing the receptacle to thereby retain the contents of the receptacle in a sealed environment.
Method for charging gas into cassette pod
A method for transporting a cassette pod for containing semiconductor wafers is provided. The method includes transporting a cassette pod configured to receive a semiconductor wafer with a transporting apparatus. The method further includes supplying a gas from a cylinder into a housing of the cassette pod. The cylinder is externally positioned on the housing. The method also includes detecting a gas pressure in the cylinder with a detection element. In addition, the method includes issuing a signal to the transporting apparatus when the gas pressure in the cylinder is lower than a predetermined limit.
Methods of inerting lithium-containing batteries and associated containers
The present disclosure is related to articles (e.g., containers, battery packs, etc.) including a lithium material (e.g., one or more lithium-containing batteries) housed therein. The articles include sulfur hexafluoride located within an interior compartment of the article to provide an inert atmosphere within the interior compartment. The present disclosure is also related to methods of inerting such articles (e.g., containers, battery packs, etc.) with sulfur hexafluoride. Additionally, the present disclosure is related to conveyed (e.g., pumped, blown, etc.) looped cooling apparatuses and systems.
VERTICALLY-CRUSHABLE CONTAINER AND MULTI-WALL CONTAINER
A container includes a bottom wall and a side wall. Multiple vertically-crushable units are formed in the side wall, each unit of the multiple units includes mountain fold lines formed by sides of parallelograms and valley fold lines formed by diagonal lines of the parallelograms, and the multiple units are stacked in tiers such that each pair of the parallelograms in upper and lower tiers have a common lower/upper side and the parallelograms in the upper and lower tiers alternately become line-symmetrical with respect to the common lower/upper side.
