PACKAGED FOOD WITH MOISTURE RELEASE
A microwavable food packaging can be configured to absorb fluid. The packaging can include a first sheet and a flexible second sheet. The first sheet can include a first polymeric layer. The first sheet can define an upper portion of a food pocket. The flexible second sheet can include an absorbent layer. The absorbent layer can include a paper-based side and a polymer-based side. The paper-based side can include paper fibers, define a bottom of the food pocket and be configured to absorb fluid released from food disposed within the food pocket. The first polymeric layer can be bonded to the polymer-based side through the paper-based side to form a non-hermetic seal, the non-hermetic seal enabling passage of moisture therethrough.
FILM DETERIORATION PREVENTING MATERIAL AND ACID GAS REMOVING AGENT
The present invention provides a film deterioration preventing material for using together with a record storage film having a triacetyl cellulose film as the base film thereof, wherein the material includes an alkali metal carbonate or an alkali metal hydrogen carbonate as an acetic acid gas removing agent to remove the acetic acid gas in an atmosphere. The present invention also provides an acid gas removing agent to remove the acid gas in an atmosphere, wherein the acid gas in the atmosphere is removed by an alkali metal carbonate or an alkali metal hydrogen carbonate.
Container
An oxygen-absorbing container includes a container body having a multilayer structure constituted by an innermost layer, an outermost layer and an intermediate layer therebetween, the container body having an opening part on an upper part thereof; and a sealing member bonded to an upper end surface of the opening part of the container body to seal an opening of the opening part. The innermost layer and the intermediate layer are bent outward at an upper end of the opening part and form a flat part and a surface of the flat part forms the upper end surface of the opening part. When the sealing member is unsealed, part of the innermost layer on the upper end surface of the opening part is configured to be peeled off so as to leave an unsealed mark.
Oxygen-absorbing multilayer body, oxygen-absorbing container, oxygen-absorbing airtight container, oxygen-absorbing push-through pack, and storage method using same
Provided is an oxygen-absorbing multilayer body including an oxygen-absorbing layer containing an oxygen-absorbing composition and a thermoplastic resin layer containing a thermoplastic resin (b), wherein the oxygen-absorbing composition includes at least one compound having a tetralin ring represented by Formula (1), a transition metal catalyst, and a thermoplastic resin (a). ##STR00001##
Method and device for packaging fresh products
A method and a device for packaging fresh products, in particular meat and sausage products, where the fresh product is introduced into a container simultaneously with an absorbent base.
LAMINATE FOR USE IN BLISTER PACK, AND BLISTER PACKING USING SAME
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a laminate for use in blister packs which fully imparts the forming property that forming defects do not occur, or are not prone to occur, even when forming the pockets in a blister pack to a relatively great depth, and to provide a blister pack using this laminate. The present invention relates to a laminate for use in a blister pack, which comprises a substrate layer 1, an aluminum foil layer 2, a first reinforcement layer 3a, a second reinforcement layer 3b, and an absorption layer 4, in that order.
Packaging for food product
A packaged food product includes a bottom receptacle having a lower portion defining an interior and an upper portion extending about the upper periphery of the interior; a food product provided within the interior; a top film sealed to the upper portion of the bottom receptacle via a seal portion extending substantially along the upper periphery of the interior and comprising at least one substantially straight side. The seal portion may be configured to release steam at approximately the midpoint of the substantially straight side of the seal portion.
FILM
A film for use in a packaging structure, comprising a coating on the film surface which comprises a binder and a particulate protuberant component able to remove a volatile organic compound from an environment in contact with the film in the packaging structure. Also provided is a packaging structure comprising such a film and a package which comprises the packaging structure.
Preservation device
A preservation device, configured to form an air tight seal when disposed on a bottle and/or a vessel, is used to preserve liquids and other items, such as foodstuffs, which spoil when exposed to oxygen for a period of time. The device comprises at least a container which contains an oxygen absorber to remove oxygen remaining in the bottle or vessel after it is sealed by the preservation device. The container or the oxygen absorber has a gas permeable, liquid impermeable membrane. The preservation device may include an air channel system to control the flow of the liquid to be dispensed from the bottle without requiring the removal of the entire stopper device from the bottle, to enable the liquid to be dispensed while only allowing a minimal amount of oxygen to enter the bottle, thus improving preservation.
TUBULAR CONTAINER
To provide a tubular container which has non-absorbing properties with respect to contents as well as gas barrier properties. A tubular container 1 comprises at least an outlet unit 20 provided with an outlet part 21 through which contents are dispensed and a shoulder part 24 that extends radially outward from the outlet part 21; and a body part 10 that is welded to the shoulder part 24 of the outlet unit 20 and stores the contents therein, wherein the body part 10 comprises at least an innermost layer formed from a non-absorbing resin on an inner side that comes into contact with the contents, an outermost layer formed on an outermost side, and an intermediate layer formed between the innermost layer and the outermost layer and including a gas barrier layer. This tubular container 1 is characterized by a structural form wherein all surfaces coming into contact with the contents are formed from a non-absorbing resin or a structural form with a transparent body part including a gas barrier layer.
