AEROSOL SAFETY ACTUATOR
20240051731 · 2024-02-15 ·

An actuator is disclosed for actuating an aerosol valve for dispensing an aerosol product from an aerosol container. The actuator comprises an actuator button being rotatable relative to a base for movement between a locked rotational position stop and an unlocked rotational position stop. The actuator button is movable relative to the base for actuating the aerosol valve to dispense the aerosol product when the actuator button is rotated into a unlocked rotational position. The actuator button is inhibited from actuating the aerosol valve when the actuator button is moved into a locked rotational position. In one embodiment, an arcuate projection inhibits unintended movement of the actuator button between the unlocked rotational position and the locked rotational position. In another embodiment, a linear projection inhibits unintended movement of the actuator button between the unlocked rotational position and the locked rotational position.

Aerosol dispenser having annular seals and aerosol container therefor

An aerosol container suitable for use as an aerosol dispenser. The aerosol container includes at least a valve and product delivery device joined to an outer container. The valve and product delivery device have respective annular welds or other seals joining the valve and product delivery to the outer container. The welds, or other seals may be concentric, with one circumscribing the other, in the same plane or different planes. Suitable product delivery devices include bags and dip tubes.

The present invention relates to a device for spraying a product, in particular a cosmetic product, makeup product or care product, said device comprising: a container containing the product, and a dispensing head (3) comprising a body (5), and an endpiece, in particular a diffuser (7), attached to the body,
the body and the endpiece (7) being configured to allow the product to be sprayed through outlet orifices about a longitudinal axis (Y) of the endpiece, in particular in at least two different directions, which are in particular diametrically opposite, the dispensing head (3) comprising at least first (15) and second (16) chambers, in particular concentric chambers, through which the flow of product successively passes before emerging from the outlet orifices, at least one opening between the first and second concentric chambers being able to be offset angularly with respect to at least one of the outlet orifices.

Packages and arrays of packages for plastic aerosol dispensers

A package and an array of packages for aerosol dispensers is provided. The package includes a polymeric outer container, the polymeric outer container having a closed bottom, a sidewall, a neck opposite the closed bottom and defining an opening for receiving product. The polymeric outer container has a longitudinal axis. The package has an attachment ring disposed adjacent to the neck of the outer container. The attachment ring has a radially outermost edge from the longitudinal axis that defines an outer diameter of the attachment ring. The outer diameter is 32.20 mm to 32.80 mm, and wherein the attachment ring is directly connectable with an actuator of an aerosol dispenser. The outer diameter of the attachment ring in the array of packages is 32.50 mm with a standard deviation of +/0.30 mm.

Aerosol Spray Guide
20240109714 · 2024-04-04 ·

An aerosol spray guide for an insecticide repellant dispensed from an aerosol can having an interior housing said insecticide repellant and an actuator having an opening for dispensing the insecticide repellant from the interior housing when actuated. The aerosol spray guide includes an aerosol cap mount having an aerosol cap mount interior for receiving an aerosol cap of the insecticide repellant. The aerosol cap mount adapted for fixedly attachment to the aerosol can or cap such that the aerosol cap mount may be securely affixed to the aerosol can or cap wherein maneuverability of the aerosol can result in movement of said aerosol cap mount. The aerosol cap mount defines an aerosol actuator opening permitting access to the actuator from an individual.

A case for securing an aerosol canister, including a body, including a first lateral wall having a first top edge and a first bottom edge, a bottom wall connected to the first lateral wall proximate the first bottom edge, and at least one cutout arranged in the first lateral wall proximate the first top edge, and a cap connected to the body, including a nozzle in fluid contact with a stem of the aerosol canister, and at least one gusset arranged to engage the at least one cutout, wherein in an unlocked position, the cap is displaceable in a first axial direction relative to the body to dispense the contents of the aerosol canister out of the nozzle, and in a locked position, the cap is not displaceable in the first axial direction.

Fixing plate for aerosol container

To provide a fixing plate for an aerosol container that allows positioning thereof, fittable to a mounting cup, applicable to aerosol containers without changes in shape, and fittable to the mounting cup without displacing out of position relative to the mounting cup. The fixing plate (100) for an aerosol container is mounted to a mounting cup (310) having two stems (320) protruding therefrom and is used for positioning of an exterior component. The fixing plate is formed in a cylindrical shape fittable to the mounting cup (310), includes, on an inner circumferential side thereof, container positioning unit and container lock unit for positioning and retaining and fitting of the fixing plate (100) and the mounting cup (310), and includes, on an outer circumferential side thereof, exterior component positioning unit and exterior component lock unit for positioning and retaining and fitting of the fixing plate (100) and the exterior component (200).

OVERSIZED ACTUATOR AND ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY FOR A PRESSURIZED PLASTIC VESSEL

An oversized actuator and actuator assembly for a plastic vessel (or container) configured to hold a product under pressure, such as, for example, a lotion, cream, spray, ointment, gel or foam. The oversized actuator and actuator assembly are configured to be attached to what is considered to be a common, standard-sized valve cup (typically about 1.0 to 1.5 inches across) fastened to a common or standard-sized neck portion for a plastic vessel. Therefore, the actuator and actuator assembly of the present invention does not require that the shoulder of the plastic vessel to which they are attached have specialized geometry molded into the shoulder or body portions of the plastic vessel in order to hold the actuator or actuator assembly in place on the plastic vessel.

Dispensing systems, dispensers, and methods for dispensing a pressurized product from a container. Such a dispenser includes a cap, a nozzle within the cap so as to be translatable relative to the cap, an actuator within the cap so as to be translatable relative to the cap and relative to the nozzle, and a biasing member that urges the actuator and nozzle apart from each other. The nozzle is configured to attach to a valve stem of a canister and has a passageway through which the pressurized product is dispersed. The dispenser has a partially actuated position following a first actuation stage resulting from the actuator being translated until the actuator abuts the nozzle without causing the nozzle to translate, and a fully actuated position following a second actuation stage resulting from the actuator being further translated to cause the nozzle to simultaneously translate with the actuator.
