Locking Dispenser for a Canister
A dispenser system for a canister. The system includes an actuator and a cover that can prevent inadvertent actuation. The actuator may include a button, a stem connector and an actuator housing. The stem connector may include wings with a protrusion to create a snap-fit with the actuator housing, thereby holding the stem connector in place during operation of the dispenser system.
Aerosol foam dispenser and methods for delivering a textured foam product
A method of dispensing a textured foam from an aerosol container. The aerosol foam dispenser has a pressurizable outer container and an actuator. The actuator has a nozzle surface with one or more shaping orifices. The method can have a shape factor index from about 0.11 to about 1.
PRESSURIZED VESSEL DISCHARGE MODIFIER
A discharge modifier includes a fitment a manifold supported by the fitment a distributor rotatably carried by the manifold, and an overcap rotatably coupled to the fitment. The fitment includes outer and inner skirts extending inwardly from a base wall, and walls extending outwardly from the base wall. The manifold includes a cylinder, and spray barrels extending radially outwardly with respect to the cylinder between the fitment walls and including passages in fluid communication with an axial passage of the cylinder.
ACTUATOR FOR AEROSOL CONTAINER
An aerosol actuator, delivery system, and a method. The actuator includes a plunger and a housing for engagement with an activation valve for controlling delivery of an aerosol from an aerosol container. A channel extends through the plunger from a front to a bottom side. The channel defines a ventral opening along a front side and a dorsal opening along a bottom side. The dorsal opening is configured to receive and be supported by a stem of an activation valve of an aerosol container against the top side wall of an upper sidewall of the housing. A partial opening of a bore along a top side of the upper sidewall and a sliced opening formed along a back side allows the plunger to fit through to the inside of the upper sidewall. A releasable holding mechanism extends along a bore in a lower sidewall of the housing.
Aerosol actuator
The aerosol actuator includes a shroud. An actuation member situated within the shroud has a stem bore pocket adapted to receive the valve stem of the aerosol container. In high speed production, entrance of the stem into the pocket as the shroud is mounted on the aerosol container is facilitated by providing the pocket with a plurality of inwardly extending compressible ribs and a tab extending from the shroud which stabilizes the actuation member within the shroud. The tab is pivoted out of the path of movement of the actuation member upon initial depression of the actuation member by the user. To prevent accidental depression of the actuation member by a top load, the shroud wall is extended above the plane of the surface of the actuation member.
AEROSOL DISPENSER HAVING ANNULAR SEALS AND AEROSOL CONTAINER THEREFOR
An aerosol container suitable for use as an aerosol dispenser. The aerosol container includes at least a valve and product delivery device joined to an outer container. The valve and product delivery device have respective annular welds or other seals joining the valve and product delivery to the outer container. The welds, or other seals may be concentric, with one circumscribing the other, in the same plane or different planes. Suitable product delivery devices include bags and dip tubes.
System and method for dispensing different sprays
A system and method to spray fluid from a container at different mass flow rates is provided. The system includes an actuator rotatable to select a mass flow rate and a valve having dual orifices that are selectively unsealed when the actuator is depressed according to the mass flow rate selection to effect dispensing of fluid.
Inhalation device, inhalation device set, and nozzle plate therefor
An inhalation device including a housing, which encloses a liquid reservoir in which the liquid is stored before discharge, and an applicator head with a nebulization chamber and an applicator piece connected thereto, wherein the applicator piece is designed either as a mouthpiece, to be received in the mouth of a patient, or as an inhalation mask, to sealingly cover the mouth, the nose, or the mouth and the nose. The inhalation device furthermore has a discharge channel which connects the liquid reservoir to the applicator head. The inhalation device includes at the end of the discharge channel a nozzle plate with a large number of nozzle openings which serve to generate an inhalation mist and through which the liquid from the liquid reservoir is conveyed into the nebulization chamber.
Replacement aerosol nozzle assembly
A replacement aerosol nozzle assembly includes a coupler that is attachable around a neck of an aerosol container. A plunger is slidably attached to the coupler to engage a broken spray nozzle on the aerosol container when the coupler is attached to the neck of the aerosol container. A conduit is integrated into the plunger and the conduit fluidly engages the broken spray nozzle when the coupler is attached to the aerosol container. In this way the conduit is placed in fluid communication with an interior of the aerosol container. The plunger urges the broken spray nozzle downwardly when the plunger is depressed to spray contents of the aerosol container.
