WHIPPED FORMULATIONS WITH DESIRED SENSORY IMPACT

The present disclosure relates to, inter alia, a method of making a whipped formulation and the formulation. The method comprises: selecting an amount of a gas propellant co-mingled with one or more active agents. The gas propellant is dispersed in the formulation, and the formulation is filled under pressure into a package, which may be pressurized. The package has a selected amount of pressure (pre-gas or cut-bag pressure). The pressure maintains the gas propellant dispersed in the formulation and the pressurized package is under sufficient pressure such that the formulation may be expelled as a whipped formulation upon application of external force on said formulation in said package. The whipped formulation is characterized by providing a desired sensory impact to a user.

PRESSURIZED CONSTRUCTION ADHESIVE APPLICATOR SYSTEM

A structural moisture-cured polyurethane adhesive is provided in a pressurized container (60) that is formulated to meet the structural requirements of wall and floor construction for the manufactured housing and recreational vehicle industry, and is designed to bond flooring to joists, wallboard to stud and header framing, as well as other structural applications. The pressurized container (60) allows for adhesive application on horizontal and vertical surfaces without any outside pumps or motors. The pressurized container (60) is portable and may be moved around the structure and/or manufacturing plant. The pressurized container (60) has a hose (64) and applicator gun (20) attached to it, where a trigger (42) on the gun (20) is depressed to dispense the adhesive. The adhesive flows consistently from the pressurized container (60), and the gun (20) is adjustable to regulate bead size for consistent placement of a bed of adhesive, which is an improvement over manual operated caulking guns.

A multi-piece valve stem. The multi-piece valve stem allows for interchangeability of component parts, without requiring several stems to fit related valves, as are commonly used for aerosol dispensers. The multi-piece valve stem also provides for assembly of valve stems having a larger head, and thus more seal area, than can occur with a single piece valve stem, as is conventionally used. Smaller stem bore diameters are also possible with a multi-piece valve stem.

A paint container for use with a reusable dispensing apparatus, and the reusable dispensing apparatus are provided to dispense paint under pressure. The paint container includes a housing defining an interior space that is devoid of an internal valve, and a combination comprising a propellant combined with paint within the interior space. A container cap is installed on the housing to enclose the propellant combined with the paint within the interior space at an elevated pressure, and defines a channel that cooperates with a portion of the housing. A compressible gasket is disposed within the channel and compressed between the container cap and the portion of the housing to form a seal that interferes with an escape of the propellant combined with the paint between the container cap and the housing. A releasable fastener engages releasably couples the reusable dispensing apparatus to the container cap.
