PROPORTIONALLY CONTROLLED CAP FOR SPRAY PAINT CANS
20240025629 · 2024-01-25 ·

Described herein are proportionally controlled caps for spray paint cans that can provide a variety of spray effects and/or spread in the spray of paint without changing caps. The disclosed proportionally controlled caps include actuating elements that change the spread in spray paint to achieve a targeted spread. The cap includes an actuator button that is configured to move relative to a main body to cause a needle valve to change the spread in paint leaving the needle valve. The disclosed caps for spray paint cans can be configured to fit typical spray paint cans so that the disclosed caps can be used to replace the typical caps that come with spray paint cans, enabling typical spray paint cans to achieve a variety of spray effects and/or spreads in spray paint with a single cap.

Fluid Dispensing Device

The invention pertains generally to an improved fluid dispensing device, particularly a dispensing device which employs at least one hemispherical domed cannister source of reactants and which uses a color-changing dispensing plastic tip to inform the end-user if the reactants are at a proper use temperature.

A method and system for mitigating a malware attack are disclosed herein. A malware detection module iterates over a virtual memory address space associated with a process executing on a computer system. The malware detection module identifies a region of memory likely to be vulnerable to a malware attack. Responsive to identifying the region of memory, a thread hollowing module determines a specific process thread associated with the identified region of memory. The thread hollowing module renders the specific process thread inoperable.

AUTOMATED FLOWABLE MATERIAL DISPENSERS AND RELATED METHODS FOR DISPENSING FLOWABLE MATERIAL
20200055658 · 2020-02-20 ·

An automated flowable material dispenser for dispensing flowable material from a flowable material container is provided. In one embodiment, the dispenser may include a dispenser housing configured to receive the flowable material container therein, a solenoid valve assembly positioned within the dispenser housing, and a biasing member configured to bias the flowable material container toward the solenoid valve assembly and to move the flowable material container from an unactuated configuration to an actuated configuration. The dispenser housing may define a dispensing opening along a bottom end of the dispenser housing and may be configured to move between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The solenoid valve assembly may be positioned above the dispensing opening and configured to control dispensing of the flowable material from the dispenser.

Compact aerosol container

An aerosol container includes a single piece or a two-piece mounting cup that is concave and, preferably, enables stacking and is lightweight.

DISPENSER WITH CAP

An article has a can with a valve stem and a dispensing device, the dispensing device includes a cap over the valve stem, a hollow tube extending through a slot in the cap and attached to the valve stem, a sleeve slidably extending over the hollow tube, a lever hingedly attached to the cap and operatively engaging the sleeve, an elastic feature that provides a force or causes a force to be applied to the sleeve in a direction that tries to move the sleeve to a closed position, and a sealing gasket between the sleeve and hollow tube proximate to the exit end of the hollow tube; where the sleeve seals the hollow tube when in the closed position and displacing the lever towards the can simultaneously unseals the hollow tube and tilts the valve stem, and when released allows the sleeve to restore to a closed position.

SPRAY GUN CLEANING SYSTEM USING AEROSOL CAN

A spray gun cleaning assembly includes an aerosol can and a connecting assembly connecting the aerosol can to a spray gun for cleaning the spray gun. The connector assembly includes a first threaded connector threadedly coupled to the aerosol can; and a second threaded connector threadedly connected to the spray gun. An elongated tube is connected at opposite ends to the first and second threaded connectors. A shut-off valve assembly is operatively coupled to the elongated tube for opening and closing the connecting assembly for providing pressurized air or cleaning fluid to the spray gun.

DEVICES FOR DISPENSING A HYDROFLUOROOLEFIN VAPOCOOLANT COMPOSITION AS AN AEROSOL

A device for dispensing a hydrofluoroolefin vapocoolant composition as an aerosol is disclosed. The device comprises an aerosol-dispensing container comprising an internal chamber, a valve, a dispensing hole, and an actuator. The device also comprises a hydrofluoroolefin vapocoolant composition comprising HCFO-1233zd at 70% to 100% (weight/weight) and, optionally, HFO-1234ze in at 0% to 30% (weight/weight). The hydrofluoroolefin vapocoolant composition is stored within the internal chamber. The aerosol-dispensing container is configured so that depressing the actuator reversibly opens the valve to allow the hydrofluoroolefin vapocoolant composition to flow from the internal chamber, past the valve, and through the dispensing hole, thereby dispensing the hydrofluoroolefin vapocoolant composition from the aerosol-dispensing container. A method of treating pain and/or swelling of a tissue of a patient by use of the device also is disclosed. The method comprises a step of dispensing the hydrofluoroolefin vapocoolant composition from the device onto the tissue of the patient.

GAS STORAGE DEVICES

The invention relates to a device (10) for dispensing oxygen (30) under pressure. The device comprises a canister (12) filled with activated carbon (14) and oxygen (30) at a pressure of between 4 and 20 barg, when measured at room temperature. The canister is sealed with a valve assembly (18) allowing release of oxygen from the canister on actuation of the valve assembly. To ensure the activated carbon does not react with the oxygen generating carbon monoxide the device further comprises a catalyst (16) that prevents or significantly reduces the presence of carbon monoxide. In a further aspect there is a device (10) for dispensing a gas (30) under pressure which device comprises a canister (12) with a volume of 1 l or less filled with activated carbon (14) to adsorb the gas under a pressure of between 4 and 20 barg when measured at room temperature. The canister (12) is sealed with a valve assembly (18) crimped to the canister over a seal allowing release of the gas (30) from the canister on actuation of the valve assembly, wherein the gas is carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen or air, and the canister is a steel canister. In a particularly favoured embodiment the device is filled with carbon dioxide and includes a high volume discharge valve making it useful as a pet behaviour correction device.
