Dispensing valve incorporating a metering valve
A dispensing valve comprising a metering valve for a pressurized aerosol application. The dispensing valve comprises a mounting cup, a gasket, a valve body and a valve housing defining a cavity. The valve housing is captively retained by the mounting cup and a spring biasing the valve body against the gasket into a normally closed position. A lower portion of the valve housing communicating with the product to be dispensed. A valve stem is coupled to the valve body and an actuator is supported by the valve stem. The metering valve is delimited by a metering valve seat and a stop. A metering member is movable, within the metering chamber, to dispense a predetermined quantity of product. The metering valve seat comprising at least one micro vent which facilitates supplying air to the metering valve seat to break a seal formed by surface tension of the product to be dispensed.

CANISTER AND VALVE
A canister for a metered dose inhaler has high and low pressure chambers for a propellant and for an inhalable drug and vaporised propellant. The low pressure chamber has an opening for a metering valve. A pressure regulating valve is between the high and low pressure chambers and provides a flow path from them. A metering valve dispenses a metered dose. The valve includes a metering valve body having a propellant metering chamber with a propellant inlet and a product metering chamber with a product inlet, and a metering valve stem with a dispensing nozzle, a propellant inlet plug and a product inlet plug. The metering valve stem moves to a dispensing position. In the dispensing position, the propellant and product metering chambers are in fluid communication with atmosphere via the dispensing nozzle of the metering valve stem such that a metered dose of product and propellant can be dispensed.
CANISTER AND VALVE
A canister for a metered dose inhaler has high and low pressure chambers for a propellant and for an inhalable drug and vaporised propellant. The low pressure chamber has an opening for a metering valve. A pressure regulating valve is between the high and low pressure chambers and provides a flow path from them. A metering valve dispenses a metered dose. The valve includes a metering valve body having a propellant metering chamber with a propellant inlet and a product metering chamber with a product inlet, and a metering valve stem with a dispensing nozzle, a propellant inlet plug and a product inlet plug. The metering valve stem moves to a dispensing position. In the dispensing position, the propellant and product metering chambers are in fluid communication with atmosphere via the dispensing nozzle of the metering valve stem such that a metered dose of product and propellant can be dispensed.
MANUALLY ACTUATABLE INHALER
A hand operable inhalator for dispensing a powdery substance, in particular a pharmaceutical substance, with a supply chamber, a discharge channel and a dosing chamber, wherein the discharge channel protrudes into the supply chamber, and the dosing chamber and discharge channel can be moved relative to each other. In order to indicate an inhalator for dispensing a powdery substance that makes the dosing chamber advantageously fillable, the discharge channel can be rotated around a rotational axis, and that the dosing chamber can be filled while the discharge channel rotates. The inhalator can have a dosing chamber that can be moved from a closed into an open state and vice versa. The inhalator can have a discharge channel that incorporates a turbulence means, which has a helically running wall and is to carry a flow while discharging air provided with the substance.
Metering valve
A metering valve having an elongate moveable stem arranged for axial movements within a container and defining a discharge passage. A flexible bag for containing a liquid formulation to be dispensed from the metering valve surrounds a lower end of the metering valve. The bag is fillable through a fill passage defined by the valve and from an exterior of the container. A one-way valve, disposed in operable combination with the fill passage, prevents liquid formulation in the bag from escaping to ambient through the fill passage but allows the bag to be filled after the lower end of the valve and the bag are inserted into the container and the container is pressurized with a propellant.
Click-in valve
System and parts for fast filling of containers, like aerosol containers, in which a valve is fixed into the container by being clicked-in and does not need a mounting cup. A mouth of the container extends toward the inside of the container with a sharp or rounded edge, in which pressurizing propellant is filled when passing between the valve and a wall of the container when overcoming the resistance of an external lip gasket.
Click-in valve
System and parts for fast filling of containers, like aerosol containers, in which a valve is fixed into the container by being clicked-in and does not need a mounting cup. A mouth of the container extends toward the inside of the container with a sharp or rounded edge, in which pressurizing propellant is filled when passing between the valve and a wall of the container when overcoming the resistance of an external lip gasket.
Liquid cosmetics case
A liquid cosmetics case includes a body filled with a liquid content and having one end in which a valve insertion part communicating with a discharge hole is defined, a valve unit installed to be inserted into the insertion part, the valve unit opening and closing the discharge hole, a solder unit coupled to one end of the body to support the valve unit and in which a hollow discharge tube is provided, and a valve actuator unit rotatably coupled to the solder unit, the valve actuator being rotated to elevate a nozzle of the valve unit, thereby opening and closing the discharge hole, wherein, when the valve actuator is rotated to allow the valve nozzle to descend, the discharge hole is opened to discharge the content, and when the valve actuator is rotated to allow the valve nozzle to ascend, the discharge hole is closed to block the discharge of the content.
Detection of the presence of a product sprayed onto a surface
A method of detecting the presence of a product sprayed onto an application surface, in which the product to be applied to the application surface is sprayed onto a target zone of the application surface in pulses. Before spraying the product it is heated to a temperature higher than a predetermined temperature value. After spraying the product, a value of a parameter representing the temperature of the target zone is measured remotely, and the value of that parameter is compared to a reference value of that parameter. A detection installation including pulsed spraying by way of forming part of a device shared with the heating element.
