Sealing joint and a method for manufacturing thereof
The invention is a method for manufacturing a sealing joint, comprising coupling a first joint element (14) and a second joint element (20) to each other, and in the course of the coupling applying a first joint element (14) being made of metal and comprising a receiving neck (15) having a receiving aperture (13), and a second joint element (20) having a connecting neck (10) with a shape fitting into the receiving neck (15), being made of plastic comprising at least 90 wt % polymer, and being provided with a protrusion (12) formed around the connecting neck (10) and having a larger periphery than the receiving aperture (13), and manufacturing out of the material of the protrusion (12) in a high-elastic state of the polymer a round-formed sealing collar (28) providing a gas-tight seal between the connecting neck (10) and the receiving neck (15) by pressing the connecting neck (10) into the receiving aperture (13) by means of a force parallel with a longitudinal axis of the receiving neck (15), and by applying the receiving neck (15) for subjecting the protrusion (12) to permanent shear deformation. The invention is furthermore a sealing joint.
Single hole single action aerosol can
A single hole single action aerosol can comprises, a can body having a lower portion and an upper portion, a valve housing, an inner sleeve having a suction tube and a plurality of plastic wings arranged around the suction tube, a detachable unit, a dip tube configured to discharge a mixture from the can body. The upper portion of the can body comprises a stem, an outer gasket, an inner gasket, a mounting cup, a spring and a nozzle. The inner sleeve having a chemical A and the can body having a chemical B. Further, the mixture configured to include chemical A and chemical B. Also, the inner sleeve is integrated with the suction tube for mixing the chemical A and chemical B and discharging the mixture from the can body with single action.
MIXING AND DISPENSING CONTAINER
A container 10 for mixing and dispensing of material having a liquid receptacle 14 and a plunger 18. The receptacle 14 has a front portion 36 and the plunger 18 has a forwardly projecting sharp protrusion 42 having a shaft 72 which terminates in a sharp outer end 78, 82. Upon the plunger 18 being depressed the sharp protrusion 42 pierces a front portion 36 of the liquid receptacle 14 and the liquid in the receptacle 14 is pushed hydraulically through the front portion 36 into the main chamber 17. Thus the liquid contacts material in the main chamber 17 to form a mixture. The plunger 18 can continue to be depressed so as to break the front portion 36 of the liquid receptacle 14 away and then push the material in the main chamber 17 towards a dispensing nozzle 26. The main chamber 17 has a frangible membrane 22 at a distal end 13 thereof which is hydraulically broken by pressure applied from the material in the main chamber 17 so that the material can be dispensed from the container 10. The container 10 is particularly envisaged for use with mixing and dispensing of dental materials.
MULTI-FUNCTION AEROSOL VALVE ASSEMBLY
The invention provides an aerosol container comprising a body (100) including an outer chamber (110a) and an inner chamber (120a) positioned within the outer chamber (110a), the inner chamber (120a) having a divider (121) that separates it from the outer chamber (110a), and an opening, a puncture member (300) for rupturing the divider (121); and an aerosol valve assembly (200) enclosing the opening of the inner chamber (120a) and including any one or a combination of a content-filling mechanism, gas-discharging mechanism, rupturing mechanism and content-dispensing mechanism. Upon activation of the aerosol valve assembly (200), the content-filling mechanism enables the formation of a content-filling passage to allow external content to be added into the body (100), the gas-discharging mechanism enables the formation of a gas-discharging passage to allow unwanted or excess gas to be released out of the container, the rupturing mechanism acts on the puncture member (11) to rupture the divider (121) so as to allow coalescing of content within the inner chamber (120a) and outer chamber (110a) to form a coalesced content, and the content-dispensing mechanism enables the formation of a content-dispensing passage to dispense the content out of the body (100).
