FLUIDIC SPRAYER
The present invention relates to a spray device, comprising a spray nozzle body (2) and a substantially planar membrane layer (6) suspended over a nozzle cavity (3) to generate microjets, especially for pharmaceutical applications, in particular preservative free formulations. The nozzle body (2,8) contains a microbial barrier, particularly a microvalve (23,24) between a fluid supply channel (9) and said cavity (3).
DISPENSING DEVICE
A dispensing device for dispensing a foamable product. The dispensing device comprises a valve. The valve comprises: a plug; a seat configured to receive the plug; and one or more resilient arms coupled to the plug, configured to bias the plug against the seat. The valve has a closed configuration in which the plug is received by the seat, and an open configuration in which the plug is displaced from the seat.
SPRAY NOZZLE ARRANGEMENTS
A nozzle arrangement that produces an atomised spray or foam wherein the nozzle arrangement comprises a nozzle body with an inlet for a pressurized fluid into a chamber with an outlet orifice in the downstream wall and a prodder with a tapered conical tip wherein the prodder is inside of said chamber and at least part of the tip of the prodder protrudes inside the outlet orifice creating at least one circumferential gap between the prodder tip and the outlet orifice whereby the fluid spins around at least part of the prodder tip and out through the circumferential gap and produces an atomized spray or foam with a substantially full cone shape.
PULSED SPRAY NOZZLE ARRANGEMENTS
A nozzle arrangement connected to a source of pressurized fluid mat produces a series of fast pulsed discharges of fluid in quick succession wherein the nozzle arrangement comprises a nozzle body with an inlet for the pressurized fluid into a chamber with a downstream wall with an outlet hole in said chamber wall wherein a prodder moves between a sealed and unsealed position in said outlet hole of the chamber wall and wherein a sprung plunger that is upstream of and connected to said prodder and has a annular seal that forms a seal between said plunger and the chamber creating a mobile chamber wall upstream of the downstream wall in said chamber, simultaneously moves between a downstream and an upstream position as the chamber fills with the fluid and then returns to a downstream position as the prodder returns from an unsealed position to a sealed position while the fluid is discharged.
Pump head and metering device
The invention relates to a pump head (I) with a specially designed flexible valve (20) which securely connects the pump head. The valve ensures the pump head is securely closed. The invention also relates to a metering device which can be designed, for example as a squeeze bottle, as a non-airless system or as an airless-system. Said metering device comprises the claimed pump head.
Actuator with back pressure valve
An actuator device for a pressurized container incorporating an internal back flow prevention valve. The actuator may include a ball and socket check valve with a resilient component to maintain the ball in a condition to operate as a check valve even when upside-down.
Dispensing head for a system for dispensing a product
The invention relates to a dispensing head for a system for dispensing a product, said head comprising a body which has a well for mounting said head on a tube for the pressurized supply of the product and a recess which is in communication with said well, said recess being provided with an abutment, around which a nozzle is mounted so as to form, at the interface thereof, a path for dispensing the product between said recess and a passage for discharging said product, said head comprising a sheath which is attached around the periphery of the abutment in order to define at least one part of the dispensing path, said sheath being capable of ensuring microbiocidal action on the product contained in said dispensing path.
Actuating system for a fluent substance dispensing system
An actuating system is provided for a dispenser cartridge that can be mounted on a frame and that has a reciprocatable product-dispensing hollow stem that (A) is biased to an extended position in which the cartridge is unactuated, and (B) is moveable from the extended position to a depressed position in which the cartridge is actuated for discharging the fluent substance through the stem. The actuating system includes a plunger on the frame, and a discharge conduit located adjacent the frame to accommodate relative movement between the discharge conduit and the frame. The discharge conduit includes (A) ml inlet opening communicating with the dispenser cartridge hollow stem, (B) ml outlet opening from which the fluent substance can be dispensed, (C) a passageway between the inlet opening and outlet opening, and (D) an intermediate opening that is in communication with the passageway between the inlet opening and the outlet opening.
