A container for consumer goods comprises an inner portion received within an outer box portion and a lifting mechanism that facilitates easy access to consumer goods received on or within the inner portion. The lifting mechanism connects the back wall of the inner portion to the lid portion top wall or lid portion front wall. The consumer goods, such as smoking articles, are longitudinally orthogonal to the hinge line.

Provided herein is a cigarette pack formed of a moisture barrier coated paper material. The paper material includes a base substrate, a first polymer coating, a second polymer coating, and a third polymer coating. The first polymer coating, the second polymer coating, and the third polymer coating provide a barrier for moisture and air exchange through the paper material. The first polymer coating, the second polymer coating, and the third polymer coating also provide heat and pressure sealability capabilities to the paper material.

A method of making a package including forming a moisture barrier coated paper material that includes a moisture barrier coated paper material including a base substrate, a first polymer coating, a second polymer coating, and a third polymer coating, the first polymer coating, the second polymer coating, and the third polymer coating applied over a first side of the base substrate, the first polymer coating, the second polymer coating, and the third polymer coating providing a barrier for moisture and air exchange through the paper material, the first polymer coating, the second polymer coating, and the third polymer coating providing heat and pressure sealability capabilities to the paper material, cutting a packaging blank from the paper material; folding the packaging blank into the package, and sealing the package by providing heat and pressure to overlapped portions of the paper material.

A packet for bar-shaped articles including an outer wrapper defining an internal space for housing the bar-shaped articles and accessible through an access opening. The packet includes an internal drawer located inside the outer wrapper and a sleeve located inside the outer wrapper with an upper free edge accessible through the opening. The sleeve is configured to receive and support the evenly spaced bar-shaped articles with their longitudinal axes parallel to a longitudinal axis of the sleeve itself. The invention relates to a package or package carton 1 for smoking articles and/or tobacco related articles, the package comprising a body 2 having at least a bottom wall 3, a top wall 4, a rear wall 5, a front wall 8 and two side walls 6, 7, the package further comprising an extension flap 9 coupled to the package and configured to be swiveled around a first hinge 10 between a first position and a second position with respect to the body of the package wherein the extension flap is further configured to support the package in the second position of the extension flap such that the body of the package stand securely and in an inclined position with respect to a (horizontal) plane on which the package rests.

A dispenser carton for cigarette tubes having a cutout shaped to outline a flap that is folded on one panel of the carton making it possible, after the cutout has been broken, to open the carton at the flap to access the tubes, while at the same time making it possible to re-close the carton by replacing the flap in its initial closed position.

A container for consumer articles comprises a box for housing the consumer articles. The box comprises a box front wall, a box back wall and a box top wall. A lid is defined by separation lines in the box front wall and in the box top wall, such that the lid is at least partly separable from the remainder of the box, wherein upon separation from the remainder of the box the lid is pivotable about a hinge line between an open position in which consumer goods can be removed from the container through an access opening of the container and a closed position in which the interior of the container is inaccessible. The container further comprises an inner front panel underlying and attached to at least a portion of the box front wall. A re-sealable cuboid-like package for loose smokable material formed from a one-piece multilayer blank. The package includes a receptacle portion (6) for containing loose smokable material (4) with an access opening (28) and a flap (8) moveable between a folded position, in which the flap is folded at least partly around the receptacle and overlies the opening, and an extended position, in which the flap extends outwardly from the receptacle portion. A re-sealable cover layer (30) is attached to an inner surface of the flap (8) to enable movement of the layer between a closed position in which it covers the access opening and an open position in which the access opening is substantially uncovered, the cover layer being sealed in place by a repositionable adhesive.
