A container for consumer goods is formed from a laminar blank (100, 300) having a blank thickness (T1) and comprises a three dimensional element (104, 304) having a thickness (T2) from about 50 micrometres to about 500 micrometres. The element (104, 304) is affixed to the container by means of adhesive provided on an affixing area (106) of an inner surface (108) of a first wall of the container. The container comprises a thickness compensating means (112, 312) provided in its entirety on a region of the inner surface of the container other than the affixing area.

A container for consumer goods, such as smoking articles, has an outer housing with a hinged lid that houses an inner package of consumer goods. The inner package has an access opening through which consumer goods can be removed and that is covered by a reclosable flap attached to a first lid panel that is relatively movable to a second lid panel throughout rotation of the lid between lid open and closed positions. The hinged lid is connected to the reclosable flap that is arranged to cover the access opening. The reclosable flap moves relative to the access opening during movement of the hinged lid. The reclosable flap carries an indicium in a manner such that the indicium is not visible when the lid is in the closed position and such that the indicium becomes visible during movement of the hinged lid from the closed position towards the open position.

A pack for cigarettes having an outer pack and an inner pack with a blank that surrounds a cigarette group, the inner pack having a removal opening for accessing the pack contents, and the inner pack having a closure flap fastened to it by a releasable adhesive bond and being removable for access to the removal opening or pack contents. For forming the removal opening, the blank has an opening that is closable by the closure means, the closure means having a coverage region that, with the closure means in the closed position, circumferentially surrounds the opening and is adhesively connectable to a region of the blank that surrounds the opening, and a separate blank is adhesively fastened on the closure means on the side facing the inner pack, the separate blank, with the closure means in the closed position, covering the opening and overlapping the opening on all sides.

A container for consumer goods, such as smoking articles, has an outer housing with a hinged lid that houses an inner package of consumer goods. The inner package has an access opening through which consumer goods can be removed and that is covered by a reclosable flap, which is attached to a first lid panel that is relatively movable to a second lid panel throughout rotation of the lid between lid open and closed positions. The reclosable flap moves relative to the inner package about a hinge line. The first lid panel is substantially perpendicular to a lid front wall when the hinged lid is in a first open position in which a lid top wall is arranged substantially perpendicular to a box back wall.

The present disclosure relates to compositions that are useful in the delivery of various materials. In particular, the compositions comprise a suspension wherein an internal phase material is surrounded by an external phase material. The internal phase specifically can be a hydrophilic material, and the external phase specifically can be a hydrophobic material. The materials are combined so that the internal phase is substantially encapsulated by the external phase such that release can be controlled in relation to osmotic pressure differentials. The suspension can be combined with a carrier, and various systems and products can be formed with the suspension and optional carrier, such as oral strips, spray delivery systems, smokeless tobacco products, aerosol delivery devices, cigarettes, and packaging.

Containers that include a housing that includes a box and a lid that is hingedly attached to the box. The container also includes an inner package disposed at least partially within the housing and at least partially defining an interior volume for housing consumer goods. The inner package includes a first layer and a second layer. The container also includes an insert positioned between the inner surface of the front wall of the box and the outer surface of the front wall of the inner package. The insert is positioned entirely below the sealing region and is positioned so that the lowest point of the upper edge of the box is lower than the highest point of the upper edge of the insert.

A spacer support for packets of smoking articles comprises a plurality of through housing compartments to receive at least one packet and having a pair of apertures on opposite sides for introducing or extracting the packets, and wherein the spacer support also comprises a pair of lateral walls having a plurality of opposite windows, and a pair of connection walls which extend between the connecting lateral walls. A plurality of positioning elements and a plurality of said access openings are disposed alternately one after the other, in succession in the longitudinal direction (X), so that each housing compartment is delimited by the pair of opposite lateral walls and by said positioning elements so as to stably retain inside them each of said packets in a static manner, in the longitudinal direction (X).

A receptacle for storing one or more used aerosol-generating articles is provided, the receptacle including: a box portion including a closed bottom end and a top end defining a box opening, the bottom end being disposed opposite the top end; a cover portion movable with respect to the box portion between a closed position in which the cover portion covers the box opening and an open position in which the box opening is uncovered; and a clip depending from the top end of the box portion and overlying an outer surface of the box portion, the clip including a top end disposed at the top end of the box portion, the top end of the clip being non-parallel with the bottom end of the box portion. A rigid package for tobacco articles with a hinged lid and having: at least one group of tobacco articles; at least one wrap, which encloses the group of tobacco articles and has a tobacco article extraction opening closed by a re-stick sealing flap; an outer container, which houses the wrap; a lid having a rear wall, which is hinged to the rear wall of the outer container so as to allow the lid to rotate relative to the outer container; an inner container, which houses the wrap and is arranged inside the outer container in a sliding manner; and a lifting mechanism, which moves the inner container relative to the outer container, using the rotation movement of the lid, between a lowered position, in which the inner container is completely inserted into the outer container, and an extracted position, in which the inner container is partially extracted from the outer container.
