A METHOD FOR REALISING A BIODEGRADABLE PACKAGING OF A PRODUCT FOR PREPARATION OF BEVERAGES
A method for realizing a biodegradable packaging of a product for preparation of beverages, includes providing a first reel of a first film of biodegradable material utilisable for formation of a pod for containing a product for preparation of beverages. The method further includes providing a second reel of a second film of biodegradable material utilisable for formation of a cladding of the pod and obtaining a biodegradable packaging of a product for preparation of beverages.
Draining the Beverage From a Single-Serve Beverage Pod With or Without an Outlet Piercing Element
A single-serve beverage pod has a filter that is sealed to the rim of container where upon a predetermined force applied to the filter, the filter can separate from the rim to form a gap therebetween to drain the beverage. The rim also has a line of weakness which can also separate upon the application of the predetermined force to form the gap between the filer and the rim to drain the beverage. As such, the pod has two independent means of separating the filter from the rim to form the gap.
Capsule For The Preparation Of Infusion And Soluble Beverages
A capsule (1) for the preparation of infused or soluble beverages comprises: a cup (2); a cover (6); a bottom (3) with an opening (31) for the outflow of the infused beverage; a base (33) with internal reliefs (310, 320, 330, 340, 350, 360) devoid of puncture elements. The capsule comprises internally a closing disc (5) permanently fixed to the inner reliefs (320, 330, 340, 360) and composed of at least two distinct portions (51, 52), joined together in an at least partially releasable manner. The capsule is characterized in that the opening for the outflow of the infused beverage occurs as a result of the deformation of the disc (5) by the pressure exerted by the fluid inside the capsule (1), to determine a separation between the portions (51, 52) that comprise the disc (5), a separation that opens a passage for the outflow of the infused liquid.
NATURAL CONVERSATION STORYTELLING SYSTEM
The present application discloses a multi-media interactive story-telling system that provides natural conversational interactions between a human user and a contributor who appears in multi-media recordings. The multi-media interactive story-telling system includes an intake device for recording interview sessions in which a contributor tells a life story about her life experience. The contributor may rely on a script when creating the life story. The multi-media interactive story-telling system further comprises storage devices for storing the recorded interview sessions and processors for organizing the recorded interview sessions. The multi-media interactive story-telling system further comprises an interactive device for retrieving and playing a recorded interview session in response to a query from a user.
Capsule containing beverage powder, in particular for preparing brewed coffee
The invention relates to a capsule, in particular for preparing a beverage from beverage powder, in particular coffee from coffee powder (1), by introducing water into the capsule, which capsule comprises a capsule body (2), which is composed of at least one polysaccharide and which is filled with a powder containing polysaccharide, wherein the capsule body (2) is encased by at least one coating layer (3), wherein the at least one coating layer (3) comprises a cross-linked polysaccharide, wherein the cross-linked polysaccharide was obtained by cross-linking a polysaccharide by means of a cross-linking agent. A method for producing such a capsule comprises the following steps: i) providing a capsule body (2) composed of at least one polysaccharide, ii) filling the capsule body (2) with a powder composed of polysaccharide, iii) wetting at least part of and preferably the entire surface of the capsule body (2) obtained in step ii) with a solution of a polysaccharide in a solvent or with a dispersion of a polysaccharide in a dispersant, iv) bringing the capsule body (2) obtained in step iii) in contact with at least one cross-linking agent, and v) drying the capsule body (2) obtained in step iv).
DISPOSABLE BEVERAGE BAG AND BREWER ADAPTER
A disposable beverage bag, filled with beverage material, for use in preparing a beverage in connection with single-serve beverage brewing machines. The beverage bag is preferably made from environmentally-friendly woven or knitted materials that are biodegradable, compostable and/or recyclable, or any other suitable stretchy, water-permeable, eco-friendly material.
