INTERMODAL CONTAINER, HANDLING METHOD AND APPARATUS
The present invention provides a lid (400) for an open container (100, 13.10), a lid lifting system (13.100), a tippler (13.200) with the improved lid lifting system (13.100) and a method of lifting a container. The lid and lifting arrangement includes an apertured receiving formation (401) on an upper side of a lid (100) to receive a lift member (13.40). The lift member (13.40) can do one or more than one of the following: engaging the formation (401) will unlock a locking mechanism (13.42,458) holding the lid (400) to a container (100); or allow the lift member (13.40) to be rotated to thereby unlock the locking mechanism (13.42, 458) which locks the lid (400) to the container (100), while simultaneously locking the lift member (13.40, 458) to the lid (400). A lifting device which is able to perform such actions is also disclosed, and a method to operate the lifting device.
Refuse container having integrated signage assembly
A container including vertical side walls and a horizontal bottom wall coupled with the vertical side walls to define an interior volume. At least one vertical side wall includes an inner wall, a spaced apart outer wall, a top rail coupled with the inner wall, a bottom sill coupled with the inner wall, and a plurality of vertical supports coupled with the inner wall and extending between the top rail and the bottom sill. The inner wall has a first surface area and the outer wall portion has a second surface area that is less than the first surface area. A frame is coupled with the inner wall and supports the outer wall and extends between two of the plurality of vertical supports, the top rail, and the bottom sill. A panel is supported by the frame and disposed on the outer wall.
Method for determining the mass and the centre of mass of a demountable platform
The present invention relates to a method for determining the mass and the centre of mass of a demountable platform by using a mathematical model, the parameters of which are estimated using an iterative procedure.
Adjustable lift bar system
An Adjustable Lift Bar System for roll off containers and other applications used to enable a roll off to be compatible with a lift bar hoist system set at various heights; the system includes a lift bar having a crown; a pair of lift bar flanges and mounting flanges with a set of holes to receive removable fasteners and mounting flanges; a long spreader tube between the mounting flanges; a pair of short spreader tubes, bolt plates with a series of holes, the pair of vertical supports, and fasteners to adjustably secure the pair of the mounting flanges of the lift bar assembly to the pair of the bolt plates.
A TRANSPORT CONTAINER
A transport container for bulk cargo/materials has a rectangular base and four sidewalls. The sidewalls are hingedly connected to the base and movable from an erect condition, providing a box structure for loading of the container, into a folded flat condition for stacking of the container. The base includes hinged floor for discharge of the particulate material contents by lifting the container with forklift engaging formations at an upper end of two oppositely arranged sidewalls. Forklift sleeves on an underside of the floor allow for movement of the loaded container.
INDUSTRIAL CONTAINER WITH PIVOTABLE RAMP WALL
The present disclosure provides an industrial container and a method of opening an industrial container. The industrial container includes a container body, a pivot assembly, a counter-balancing spring assembly, and a locking assembly. The container body can have a plurality of walls, the plurality of walls including a pivotable ramp wall. The pivot assembly can connect the ramp wall with the container body for pivotal movement of the ramp wall, and the pivot assembly can include a pivot shaft supported by a pair of arms. The counter-balancing spring assembly can include one or more springs arranged about the pivot shaft for biasing the ramp wall from a downwardly inclined loading position upwardly toward a vertical closed position with a torque force. The locking assembly can be configured to lock the ramp wall in the vertical closed position.
Container, container construction, handling method and apparatus
Roll-off tub style container
A roll-off tub style container is disclosed with the container having a floor with a forward end, a rearward end, a first side, a second side, an upper side and a lower side. The container has a front wall, a first side wall, a second side wall and a tail gate. The upper side of the floor has a plurality of elongated and horizontally spaced-apart rail members which are welded to the upper side of the floor. The rail members extend between the forward and rearward ends of the floor. In the preferred embodiment, the rail members are angle members which have an inverted V-shaped configuration. Rail members having different cross-sectional configurations may possibly be utilized. The rail members prevent materials in the container from freezing to the floor of the container and also act as slide members when the material in the container is being dumped therefrom.
Adjustable Lift Bar System
An Adjustable Lift Bar System for roll off containers and other applications used to enable a roll off to be compatible with a lift bar hoist system set at various heights; the system consists of a lift bar having a crown; a pair of lift bar flanges and mounting flanges with a set of holes to receive removable fasteners and mounting flanges; a long spreader tube between the mounting flanges; a pair of short spreader tubes, bolt plates with a series of holes, the pair of vertical supports, and fasteners to adjustably secure the pair of the mounting flanges of the lift bar assembly to the pair of the bolt plates.
Excavation receptacle/bedding box
An industrial sized receptacle or bedding box for industrial fill material which is formed by a distal plate, a proximal plate, two side plates, and a bottom plate. The bedding box is equipped with a means for engagement by a secondary device, such as the bucket of an excavator or similar heavy machinery. The bedding box can then be manipulated by the secondary device to lift and tilt the bedding box to empty the contents of the bedding box through an opening in the proximal plate.
