Phytase production and methods of using the same

Methods and compositions are described for producing a phytase in transgenic maize plants and then incorporating parts of the transgenic maize plants in animal feed. The feed phytase enzyme displays activity across a broad pH range, and tolerance to temperatures that are often encountered during the process of preparing animal feeds. Methods of producing an animal feed that incorporate the transgenic maize plants, parts thereof or plant derived phytases, as well as methods of promoting the release of inorganic phosphate from a phytic acid in an animal, producing an animal meat, or reducing the ratio of intake of an animal feed per weight of the animal meat by feeding an animal with the animal feed incorporating transgenic maize plants are provided.

Xylanase Variants and Methods

The present invention relates to variant xylanase enzymes and their use thereof.

REDOX ENZYMES IN ANIMAL FEED COMPOSITIONS

Novel polypeptides of fungal origin with catalase active are active, gastric stable and thermal stable, and effective for use in animal feed additives. The use of fungal catalases in animal feed improve animal growth, animal health and intestinal health of animals

Provided is a Pichia pastoris mutant strain for expressing an exogenous gene. Specifically, provided is a Pichia pastoris mutant strain comprising, with respect to Pichia pastoris mutant strain GS115 or CICC32806, one or more of the following six mutations: BQ9382_C1-2260, EKK deletions at positions 308-310, a hypothetical protein; BQ9382_C1-3800, E129K, 60S ribosomal subunit assembly/exported protein LOC1; BQ9382_C1-5700, I312M, mitochondrial external NADH dehydrogenase, type II NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase; BQ9382_C2-3950, Q145X, an essential protein having a binding partner Psr1p and used for completely activating a general stress response; BQ9382_C3-2220, E188K, a hypothetical protein; and BQ9382_C3-4370, W196X, orotidine 5\′-phosphate decarboxylase. The provided Pichia pastoris mutant strain is an effective commonly employed host for exogenous expression, and can efficiently express different proteins, especially phospholipase and lipase.

PREPARATION OF COMPOUND RUMEN BYPASS POLYUNSATURATED FATTY ACID POWDER AND USE THEREOF
20230263191 · 2023-08-24 ·

A preparation of a high-conversion compound rumen bypass polyunsaturated fatty acid powder and the use thereof. The preparation comprises: adsorbing a polyunsaturated fatty acid oil by means of an adsorbent under vacuum conditions, and compounding a water-soluble antioxidant and an enzyme for promoting digestion and absorption to form a mixed powder; uniformly mixing and granulating the mixed powder by using a colloid or flour, and carrying out one-layer fixed coating by using a polysaccharide; and performing rumen bypass coating of the one-layer coating granule by using a fat powder or of a monoglyceride and a diglyceride by using a coating machine.
