CAN ENDS HAVING RE-CLOSABLE COVERS
Can ends having re-closable covers are disclosed. An example can end includes a can end having center panel defining a pour panel and a first wall extending from the center panel. A cover defines a first opening and rotatably couples to the can end. The cover is rotatable relative to the pour panel between a first position and a second position. The opening of the cover aligns with the pour panel to allow access to the pour panel when the cover is in the first position. The opening of the cover is offset relative to the pour panel such that the opening is misaligned with the pour panel to at least one of restrict or prevent access to the pour panel when the cover is in the second position.
Tamper-resistant lid assembly for dispensing a premeasured amount of liquid
A tamper-resistant lid assembly for dispensing a premeasured amount of liquid from a beverage container and a method of providing a tamper-resistant lid assembly for use in dispensing a premeasured amount of liquid. The assembly includes a cup and a ring that are secured to one another using a snap-fit connection, as well as a lockable connection enabled by a selectively twistable rotation of the cup and the ring once the snap-fit connection is established.
CAN PROTECTOR AND CAP
Provided herein is a re-usable device that would allow for the export of, or consumption of liquid without having to remove the device from the can such as the aluminum beverage can and that would also seal the liquid inside a beverage can. A water-resistant or water-proof, insect-proof, dirt-proof synthetic cap is provided that is to be attached to the lip area of the open mouth of can or other open mouth container, such as metal, plastic or an aluminum beverage can.
ROTATABLE BEVERAGE CAN COVER
The Rotatable Beverage Can Cover (200) enables a beverage drinker of a stay-on-tab beverage can (100) to drink the beverage (600) without being subjected to unsanitary lid surface conditions. The Rotatable Beverage Can Cover (200) comprises a circular surface (210), a curved side wall (300) and a notch (500). The Rotatable Beverage Can Cover (200) is fastened to the stay-on-tab beverage can (100) and placed in its “sanitary protection” position so that: a) the Rotatable Beverage Can Cover (200) covers the drinking contact area (190) and b) the notch (500) on the Rotatable Beverage Can Cover (200) allows access to the pull tab area (195). The beverage drinker rotates the Rotatable Beverage Can Cover (200) to move the Rotatable Beverage Can Cover (200) from its “sanitary protection” position to its “drinking access” position so that: a) the circular surface (210) of the Rotatable Beverage Can Cover (200) covers the pull tab area (195): and b) the notch (500) allows access to the drinking contact area (190) and the scored opening (126).
CHILD-RESISTANT CAN TOP
The present invention may comprise a main tab, a tab shield, a rim, an interior rim guard, and a tab finger port. The invention may further comprise breakable connectors among the tab, tab shield, rim, interior rim guard, and other structures, such that breakage of the connectors indicates access to a container after preventing or inhibiting access to a container, such as a beverage can.
Rotatable beverage can cover
The Rotatable Beverage Can Cover (200) enables a beverage drinker of a stay-on-tab beverage can (100) to drink the beverage (600) without being subjected to unsanitary lid surface conditions . The beverage drinker rotates the Rotatable Beverage Can Cover (200) to move the Rotatable Beverage Can Cover (200) from its “sanitary protection” position to its“drinking access” position so that: a) the circular surface (210) of the Rotatable Beverage Can Cover (200) covers the pull tab area (195): and b) the notch (500) allows access to the drinking contact area (190) and the scored opening (126).
RESEALABLE POP TOP LID
A pop top lid for cylindrical fluid containers is disclosed. The lid includes an end shell with a scored line defining a tear panel, a stay-on tab assembly, and a rivet for attaching the assembly to the shell. The stay-on tab assembly features a pocketed tang with a central portion containing a pivot hole for the rivet. The assembly includes a top cover and bottom plate, spaced apart by a gap on the leading edge. An aperture point is connected to the pocketed tang and can be rotated. A shearing edge is attached to the central portion and extends radially behind the aperture point. In an embodiment, the bottom plate is embossed to facilitate sliding of the shearing edge under the end shell wall when the pocketed tang is rotated, achieving a resealing clamp action by securely placing the embossed shape into the tear panel opening.
