CARRYING ASSEMBLY INCLUDING RESEALABLE COVER FOR CONTAINERS
A carrying assembly including a support member integrally molded with sealing covers that have a base connected via a bridge to a lid. The base is engaged with can top end and the lid is rotatable to seal the can. A four-pack of cans is secured together by a sealing member having an annular ring defining an aperture and four radial arms. Each base is engaged with two adjacent arms. A six-pack of can is secured together by a sealing member having a central strip with an annular ring at each end and a plurality of tabs extending between adjacent bases. Each annular ring defines an aperture therein. The annular rings are rotated relative to the strip to bring the apertures into alignment. A user will insert one or more fingers into the aperture in the four-pack or the aligned apertures in the six-pack to lift and carry the same.
Safety mechanism for containers
A container top comprising a container top member comprising tracks over an upper surface thereof and a sealer sealing an opening thereof; and a slidable member having a sealing mechanism, the slidable member being slidable through the tracks and positioned such that sliding of the slidable member over the tracks to one direction unseals the sealer, forming an opening over the container top member, in the initial opening thereof and wherein sliding the slidable member back to its original position over the opening formed thereby covers and seals the opening. The opening formed by the unsealing of the sealer can be re-sealed at will by the sealing mechanism of the slidable member. The sealing mechanism may be for example a sealing material coating strip located over a periphery of the slidable member or the physical configuration of the slidable member periphery edges.
Quadruple sealing structure for can cover
A can cover having an inner cover comprising a circular groove in which an upper sealing portion of said can is inserted. An inner O-ring is tightly attached to said upper sealing portion of said can. Said inner O-ring is inserted into said circular groove of said inner cover. Also included is an outer coupling ring having a plurality of coupling protrusions inserted into a plurality of coupling grooves formed in an outer circumferential portion of said inner cover. A clearance is formed between said coupling grooves such that when said outer coupling ring is separated from said inner cover, said clearance spreads and separates said inner cover from said upper sealing portion of said can.
Container for the storage, preservation, identification, tracking and transport of a federally controlled substance
The present application provides a container for storage, preservation, identification, tracking and transport of a federally controlled substance comprising: (a) a one or more piece airtight container having an exterior surface and an interior surface, an upper portion and a lower portion, configured for containing a federally controlled substance; (b) an inner coating liner lining said interior surface of said airtight container; (c) a one piece tamper resistant easy open lid affixed to said upper portion of said airtight container; and (d) identifying indicia located on the exterior surface for identifying the contained federally controlled substance contents within said container; wherein said airtight container configured for containing a federally controlled substance, has the atmosphere evacuated and the container filled with an inert gas before the airtight container is hermetically sealed, containing a federally controlled substance inside.
RESEALABLE CAN LIDS FOR METAL BEVERAGE CANS
The object of the invention is a can lid comprising a base (1) having a weakened contour (10) defining a tear portion, wherein the base (1) comprises a flange (7), with a rivet structure (2) being arranged at the centre of the base (1), and with an opening tab (3) being attached to the rivet structure (2). The can lid according to the invention is characterised in that a bottom rotatable lid (4) and a top rotatable lid (5) are secured to the rivet structure (2), where an external curved guide rim of the bottom rotatable lid (4) is fitted slidably in a circumferential bottom groove (8) of the flange (7) of the base (1), and where an external curved guide rim of the top rotatable lid (5) is fitted slidably in a circumferential top groove (9) of the flange (7) of the base (1), with the bottom rotatable lid (4) and the top rotatable lid (5) being adapted to be rotated about the rivet structure independent of each other, and in that the bottom rotatable lid (4) comprises a protrusion (12) disposed in a direction opposite its side facing the base, with the top rotatable lid (5) comprising another protrusion (13) at its side facing the base, where the protrusion (12) of the bottom rotatable lid (4) and the protrusion (13) of the top rotatable lid (5) fitting tightly against each other when the rotatable lids (12, 13) are in an identical position.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF A CAN WITH A TEAR-OPEN LID AND CAN WITH A TEAR-OPEN LID
To manufacture a metal can having a tear-open lid and having a storage space for an object above the tear-open lid, the following procedure is used: first, a top edge of the can which has a smaller diameter than the inside diameter of the can body is formed, wherein a transition region (6) is formed. After the tear-open lid has been attached, this transition region is deep drawn so that the tear-open lid (2) is displaced towards the bottom (5) of the can. This produces the storage space. This procedure allows previously formed tear-open lids to be used, which safely guarantees the imperviousness of the seal of the tear-open lid.
Resealable pop top lid
A pop top lid for cylindrical fluid containers is disclosed. The lid includes an end shell with a scored line defining a tear panel, a stay-on tab assembly, and a rivet for attaching the assembly to the shell. The stay-on tab assembly features a pocketed tang with a central portion containing a pivot hole for the rivet. The assembly includes a top cover and bottom plate, spaced apart by a gap on the leading edge. An aperture point is connected to the pocketed tang and can be rotated. A shearing edge is attached to the central portion and extends radially behind the aperture point. In an embodiment, the bottom plate is embossed to facilitate sliding of the shearing edge under the end shell wall when the pocketed tang is rotated, achieving a resealing clamp action by securely placing the embossed shape into the tear panel opening.
CLOSURE FOR A BEVERAGE CAN LID
A closure for a beverage can lid has a body having a back end, a front end, a front panel portion, a rear panel portion, and a step down section between the front panel portion and the rear panel portion, a left edge, and a right edge, the back end having a track portion, the front end having a left ear section having a left front edge, a central rounded recess, and a right ear section having a right front edge.

The lateral edges have edge reinforcements reinforcing the plate. The radial edge has a groove anchor (10) that forms a sliding rail that engages a groove of the beverage can. The upper face is equipped with at least one elevation (15) that engages the lever of the can and functions as an opening aid. The elevation has gradually inclines towards its ends, and runs approximately concentrically. The upper face has at least one pushing aid, preferably with a knob (20). The corners between the lateral edges and the radial edge form radially protruding corner flanges (13).
