SCENTED MATERIAL COMPOSITIONS AND ARTICLES FOR USE WITH FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Disclosed are scented material compositions, articles and methods of their manufacture. In some aspects, a scented attachment for a beverage container includes a scented article including a body loaded with a volatile chemical compound to emanate from the body of the scented article to generate a scent, in which the scented article includes at least one interior protruding structure that projects from an interior wall of the body of the scented article and is configured to attach to a bottle and be enclosed by a cap and the bottle when the cap is securely fastened to the bottle, such that the scent from the scented attachment is trapped when the cap is securely attached to the bottle and releases into an outer environment when the cap is detached from the bottle, in which the scented article comprises a scented material formed of a fragrance oil and a plastic base material.

A beverage container with aerosol-emitting device, comprising an opening device arranged on an outer side of the beverage container for opening a drink-through opening cover and an aerosol-emitting device attached to an outer side of the beverage container, which aerosol-emitting device comprises a pressure container for receiving and storing a pressurized propellant gas and a substance to be emitted, a nozzle fluidly connected to the pressure container for emitting an aerosol formed from the propellant gas and the substance to be emitted, and a triggering device for opening the nozzle, which releases the aerosol upon actuation.

A lid that enables easy and hygienic opening and closing of a spout in a lid, is formed for opening and closing an open mouth part of a container, and has a top surface part formed so as to cover the open mouth part when the lid is closed. A decorated tab for a beverage container has a lift end, a nose end, and central webbing. An enclosed portion of the central webbing has a coating. A symbol is located on the enclosed region which is created by selective removal of the coating by a laser ablation. The symbol has a boundary profile defining a perimeter of the symbol generated by a continuous, uninterrupted vectorized laser dot pattern defining regions of ablated coating. The symbol has an interior portion generated by a plurality of pulsed rasterized laser dots defining further regions of ablated coating.
Marking of can ends and/or pull tabs using photonically sensitive ink
A system and method for laser marking can ends, especially pull tabs, includes coating a portion of the can end and/or pull tab with a lacquer having a photonically active material and directing a laser to the lacquer to alter the appearance of the of the photonically active material to form an image, especially a high resolution image. The decorated can end and/or tabs may have a high resolution image.
