LID, COMBINATION OF CONTAINER AND LID, AND CONTAINER WITH LID
A lid that enables easy and hygienic opening and closing of a spout in a lid, is formed for opening and closing an open mouth part of a container, and has a top surface part formed so as to cover the open mouth part when the lid is closed. The top surface part includes a small lid piece and an opening part formed when the small lid piece is lifted, a joint part joined to one end part of a tab member is formed near a tip end of the small lid piece, and the tab member has a knob part formed at the other end part.
Can end
A can end (10) has a curl (14) extending circumferentially about a longitudinal axis (50). A circumferential wall (15) extends downwardly. A strengthening member (16) is joined to lower segment of the circumferential wall (15). A center panel (12) extends radially inwardly from the circumferential strengthening member (16). A rivet (38) attaches a tab (28) to the center panel (12). A cover (60) is attached to the tab (28) and is rotation therewith. A frangible score (24) in the center panel (12) is breakable to form a pour opening (27) in the center panel (12). The cover (60) is rotatable to overlay the pour opening (27) and effectively reclose the pour opening (27) in a reclosed condition of the can end (10).
Lid with sealing foil comprising retaining means
The invention relates to a lid (1) for a can for foodstuff, paint and so on, which lid comprises: ringlike bare part (2) defining a opening (3); a sealing foil (4) arranged an the base part and covering the opening; a lip (5) arranged with one end to the foil for tearing the foil; retaining means for retaining a free end of the lip adjacent the sealing foil, whereby the retaining means comprise a first retaining part being part (7) of the sealing foil and a second retaining part being (8) part or the lip.

Seam seal for wine in beverage cans
A can end (10) for a two-piece beverage container (1) has a public side (32) opposite a product side (34). A cured coating (76) is on the product side (34) of the can end (10) and forms a substantially continuous thin layer thereon. A circumferential curl (12) is centered about a longitudinal axis (50). A circumferential chuckwall (14) extends downwardly from the curl (12). A circumferential U-shaped countersink (16) is located downwardly from the chuckwall (14). The countersink (16) has an annular bead defining a lowermost vertical extent of the can end (10). A center panel (18) is located radially inwardly from the countersink (16) and is centered about the longitudinal axis (50). The center panel (18) has a means for providing an opening in the can end (10). A circumferential second coating (92) forms an annular layer on the product side (34) of the circumferential curl (12) and the cured coating (76). The second coating (92) provides a layer on one or more fractures in the cured coating (76).
