Structural element
A structural element (10) for forming a panel, with an upper plane (12) and lower plane (14) which are parallel and deformed along their plane at intervals by pods (16) which extrude toward the opposing plane with their internal faces mating to one another.
EQUIPMENT PLATFORM
Improved equipment bases and methods for making and using same are disclosed herein. The equipment base can include a first coated substrate including a first part having a first thickness sized to provide the load-bearing support for the equipment, a first elastomer coating the first part, a second coated substrate positioned adjacent to the first coated substrate, the second coated substrate including a second part having a second thickness sized to provide the load-bearing support for the equipment, and a second elastomer coating the second part. A first seam can be formed between the first and second coated substrates to allow for moisture to pass between the first and second coated substrates so that moisture is allowed to seep away from the bottom of the equipment.
Flat-pack shipping container
The present invention relates to a folding container (100) that comprises a base (102) further comprising a floor (112). At least two side panels (104, 104′) are mechanically attached to the base. A rear panel (106) comprises rear hinges (118) attached thereto that are pivotably connected to the base (102) and operable to pivot between a folded position that contacts the floor and a vertically deployed position. A hinge block (119) is attached to the base (102). A front panel (108) comprising a front door (109), and further comprising front hinges (122) is pivotably connected to the hinge block (119), and operable to pivot between a folded position that contacts the front panel (108) and a vertically deployed position.
Momentum arresting ramp
A momentum arresting ramp that includes a plurality of steps that each includes a slider receiving surface and a transition surface. The steps may enable a device with wheels to be moved down the ramp by a user, without inconvenient gravity building momentum of the device down the ramp. For example, the steps may be spaced apart along a first axis such that a first slider of the device is never in contact with one of the transition surfaces when a second slider of the device is in contact with another one of the transition surfaces. The configuration of the steps and the sliders may enable the device (e.g., a device heavy enough to typically require two users to unload using a planar ramp) to be easily and conveniently unloaded by a single user.
PIEZOELECTRIC BASED PALLET GENERATOR FOR DEVICE CHARGING
A piezoelectric generator structure disposed between an upper platform and a lower platform that includes a lower piezoelectric pad, an upper piezoelectric pad, and a connecting shaft. The lower piezoelectric pad coupled to the upper piezoelectric pad via the connecting shaft, where the lower piezoelectric pad is configured to compress under a downward motion of the upper platform during a compression movement due to an additional load being applied to an existing load on a top surface of the upper platform, where the lower piezoelectric pad produces a first voltage due to the compression movement. The upper piezoelectric pad configured to compress under an upward motion of the upper platform during a rebound movement of the upper platform, where the upper piezoelectric pad produces a second voltage due to the rebound movement. The generator structure configured to provide the first and the second voltage to a coupled power storage unit.
MATERIAL HANDLING PALLET
A pallet comprises an upper load supporting surface having a peripheral edge, and a lower surface having a peripheral edge. The lower surface has substantially the same dimensions as the upper load supporting surface. A plurality of peripheral supports are provided at or near the peripheral edge of the lower surface and extend upwardly therefrom to the upper load supporting surface so that the upper load supporting surface and the lower surface are spaced from each other and define sides of the pallet. Each side of the pallet has a first opening and a second opening which are defined by the upper load supporting surface, the lower surface, and a pair of peripheral supports. Inclined surfaces are provided on the lower surface.
Crate apparatus for artificial stone slabs, or the like
A crate apparatus can at least partially contain and protect articles that may be artificial stone slabs. The crate apparatus can include a crate and one or more partitions mounted to the crate and at least partially positioned in the interior of the crate. The partitions can extend crosswise to, and be spaced apart from one another in, an upright direction. The partitions and holes therein can be cooperatively configured to at least partially define upright receptacles for respectively receiving the articles. The upright receptacles and/or articles therein can extend vertically or be in an inclined configuration.
Pallet and logistic system
A pallet has a deck, a skid and a plurality of blocks, spacing the skid from the deck. The blocks comprise spacer portions and sleeve portions, wherein the sleeve portions may extend above and below the spacer portions. The pallet constructed in this way can advantageously be made in any conventional size to meet the relevant norm or standard, while benefitting from the fact that the sleeve portions protect the edges of the deck and/or skid from impact. Furthermore, any impact imparted on the blocks is transmitted by the respective sleeve to the deck and/or skid. A logistic system is also described.
Modular deck system for use with movable platforms
Disclosed herein is a modular deck system that utilizes a combination of a movable platform having a plurality of vertical posts with engagement members. Decks, filled with freight, can be placed onto the vertical posts at various heights at different sections of the movable platform using a conveyance vehicle. Further, the height of the vertical posts can be extended using an extension post for securing tall cargo. The decks can also be locked to the vertical posts to prevent dislodgement of the deck during transport of the movable platform.
Multiconfigurable, collapsible, modular tote container
A modular, multiconfigurable container adapted to collapse for stowability and portability which is capable of being arranged in several geometries; whereby the container is operable to enable a user to assembly the container without tools, screws or external fasteners, and customize the container with minimal effort and skillset requirements for assemblage, so as to enable a user to customize said container for optimal stowing of categorized items in multiple interior bins, the container further configured to facilitate disassembly and stowage, one-man portability, and minimal tool and skillset requirements for assemblage. In various embodiments, the side panels and base panel are affixed together using a live hinge. The tote container further operates to allow a user to apply labels forwardly and rearwardly on the container within a recess adapted for that purpose.
