A pallet has a carrier arrangement (1), with at least one platform or base surface (6), for carrying at least one item and at least two skid arrangements (2) and at least two coupling arrangements (3). The at least two coupling arrangements (3) are provided for intercoupling the carrier arrangement (1) and the skid arrangements (2) when needed.

A pallet forming concrete mold assembly includes a bottom wall having a top side, a bottom side and a perimeter edge. The perimeter wall has a rectangular shape and the bottom wall has a length and width each is between 40.0 inches and 60.0 inches. A perimeter wall is attached to and extends upwardly from the perimeter edge. The perimeter wall includes a front wall, a rear wall, a first lateral wall and a second lateral wall. The top side of the bottom wall has a pair of raised sections extending from the front wall to the back wall. The patent application concerns a drum pallet (10) suitable for positioning one drum or a plurality of drums thereon, wherein the pallet has a deck (11), skids (2) and a plurality of blocks (12), coupling the deck with the skids, thereby forming a gap (5) therebetween for receiving a lifting member. The deck and the plurality of blocks form one monolithic body (1). The skids are connected below the blocks to the blocks. The body consists of a compression molded thermoset composite. The upper surface (13) of the deck comprises vertical protrusions (14A, 14B) adapted to avoid shifting of the drum along the surface, if the drum is positioned on the deck and aligned with the protrusions.

A modular pallet formed from a plurality of frame members and a plurality of deck members. The deck members extend between the frame members to define an upper deck surface and optionally a lower deck surface of the pallet. A plurality of spaced-apart channels are formed in at least an upper surface of the frame members to receive the deck members. In some embodiments the pallet may be configured as a stringer pallet and in other embodiments the pallet may be configured as a block pallet. In some embodiments the frame members are unitary stringers. In other embodiments the frame members are modular structures each comprising a block pallet subassembly and a deck support panel. The number, size, orientation and spacing of the channels formed in the frame members and the corresponding arrangement of the deck members may vary in different embodiments of the pallet. Once assembled, the frame members and deck members may be integrally connected, such as by heat welding. In some embodiments the pallet is formed from readily recyclable plastic.

A pallet assembly includes a support assembly and a base assembly. The support assembly has a deck molded from a plastic shell material and male fittings that extend away from a lower surface of said deck. The base assembly includes a stringer that defines a plurality of openings which extend through the entirety of the stringer. A female fitting extends completely through each of the openings in the stringer so that the base of each of the female fittings is flush with or extends beyond the bottom surface of said stringer. Each of the male fittings corresponds to a female fitting, attaching said support assembly to said base assembly.

Disclosed herein are embodiments of pallets and pallet components which can be formed from composite materials, such as composite polymer materials. The composites can include polymer-polymer composites as well as wood-polymer composites. Advantageously, the composite pallet components can be formed from recycled plastics, such as polypropylene and polyethylene, which can be acquired from used bottles.

A system and technique has been developed to print graphics on a pallet. In one form, the graphics are printed on one of the decks of the pallet. The graphics in one variation are printed on a deck that is in the form of a flat, contiguous surface via a flatbed printer. The flatbed printer has a printer head that forms a gap that is able to accommodate the deck of the pallet. After printing, the deck is assembled with the rest of the pallet. The graphics can include text and images. In one form, the graphics include a packing template that shows how at least one packing layer should be packed on the pallet.

A pallet assembly includes a support assembly and a base assembly.
