In at least one embodiment, an apparatus for securing boxes on a pallet may a structural member sized to run a length or a width of a pallet, the structural member having a top side and a bottom side. The structural member may be L-shaped. The structural member allows for securing a load on the pallet. The structural member also provides additional surface area for plastic wrap to secure a load. The structural member may have tabs that fit within the recesses between planks of a pallet. In various embodiments, the structural member and tabs may be formed as a single composite structure.

The invention relates to a collapsible superstructure (30), a frame system (20), a lid (40) and a load handling system in the form of a pallet (10) with other components thereon. The superstructure (30) comprises a downward-extending protrusion in the corner portions (33a-d) for forming a step which is arranged to interact with an edge of a downward-extending recess of the pallet (10) on which the superstructure (30) is intended to be placed. A process and related assembly for applying a fast curing plastic spray coating to a substrate article having a specified shape and size with an exposed surface. The coating can include any polyurethane or polyurea composition and incorporating a fast curing catalyst which, upon delivery to a pneumatically charged nozzle, providing for aerated application from the nozzle upon the exposed surface. The spray coating further includes a cure time of between 5-10 seconds from aerated delivery and can be applied to any of a wire harness, metal surface or injection molded plastic pallet. In the specific instance of a wire harness coating. In the instance of a wire harness article, a plurality of branches terminate in end connectors, the coating providing insulating and fire-protection to the underlying harness.

A packaging and shipping system for dry charged batteries. The packaging system includes a shipping crate having a lower section that defines an open interior. The open interior is sized to receive a dry charged battery and a plurality of electrolyte bottles. Each of the electrolyte bottles contains a volume of electrolyte sufficient to fill one of the individual cells of the dry charged battery. Each of the electrolyte bottles are separately packaged and positioned within the open interior of the shipping crate. Upon reaching the desired destination, the shipping crate can be stored. When the dry charged battery is to be placed into use, the shipping crate is opened and the individual cells of the dry charged battery are filled with electrolyte from the plurality of electrolyte bottles. Once the dry charged battery has been activated, the empty electrolyte bottles can be placed back into the shipping crate and returned for recycling.
