PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF CONCENTRATES OF CHELATED MINERALS WITH SOYBEAN AMINO ACIDS AND/OR SOYBEAM PROTEIN, AND RELATED PRODUCT

This invention relates to a process for obtaining concentrates of minerals chelated with amino acids or small peptides comprising soybean aminogram, wherein the reaction mixture is formed by diluting the source of natural amino acids from soybean which can undergo additivation of synthetic amino acids from soybean with water, at a ratio ranging from 1:4-7 in mass of amino acids per volume of water, with the physical reaction medium being transformed in emulsion through micro shear using a rotation from 2,500 to 5,000 rpm, and the stoichiometric balance being an excess of metal ions in relation to the ligand ions of soybean amino acids, in a molar ratio varying between 1: 1.2-1.8 between divalent metal ions and amino acids ions, respectively. The concentrates of minerals chelated with amino acids from soybean aminogram, having concentrations higher than those existing today, present industrial application as food supplements or in animal nutrition feed.

Disclosed are animal feeding products and methods contemplated to be useful to increase nitric oxide production and mange oxidative stress in an animal. The animal feeding products generally comprise arginine, choline, an ascorbyl compound, and zinc. Also contemplated is a method of feeding an animal comprising administering doses of arginine, choline, an ascorbyl compound, and zinc to a target animal over a period of time. The dose of arginine may range from about 0.2-10% total weight of feed/head/day. The dose of choline may range from about 0.1-10% total weight of feed/head/day. The dose of the ascorbyl compound may range from about 0.015-10% total weight of feed/head/day. The dose of zinc may range from about 0.01-10% total weight of feed/head/day.

METHOD OF PRODUCING ANIMAL FEED FOR IMPROVED PROTEIN UTILIZATION

The present application discloses embodiments of a method for producing a feed. The method may comprise mixing selected protein sources to produce a protein mixture having an amino acid pattern that aligns with ruminant lean tissue, milk protein, or both; adding processing aids to the protein mixture to facilitate non-enzymatic browning of proteins provided by the protein sources; adding a solvent to the protein mixture to form a solvent mixture; optionally agitating and/or heating the solvent protein mixture; drying the solvent protein mixture to form a dried protein mixture; and processing the dried protein mixture to produce a final dry mixture having a particle size of from 800 to 1200 microns. Disclosed embodiments also concern products made by the method, and administering the products to an animal, particularly a ruminant.

ANIMAL FEED AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE

An improved animal feed including flavorings, vitamins, and minerals is disclosed. Applications of the novel composition of flavorings, vitamins, and minerals was found to provide greatly increased rates of consumption of the animal feed by wildlife. This novel composition for application to animal feed should be of great importance to hunters, farmers, and ranchers or others that desire to attract and maintain wildlife within a certain area or to encourage repeat visitations by the wildlife.

Durable powder composition

The present invention relates to a detoxified powder composition comprising a zinc-bearing compound selected from the group consisting of zinc carbonate, zinc hydroxide, zinc oxide, zinc sulphate and mixtures thereof, and at least one detoxification agent containing at least one oxide based on a cation, selected from the group consisting of calcium, barium, magnesium, strontium and beryllium.

PHYTASE PRODUCTION AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

Methods and compositions are described for producing a phytase in transgenic maize plants and then incorporating parts of the transgenic maize plants in animal feed. The feed phytase enzyme displays activity across a broad pH range, and tolerance to temperatures that are often encountered during the process of preparing animal feeds. Methods of producing an animal feed that incorporate the transgenic maize plants, parts thereof or plant derived phytases, as well as methods of promoting the release of inorganic phosphate from a phytic acid in an animal, producing an animal meat, or reducing the ratio of intake of an animal feed per weight of the animal meat by feeding an animal with the animal feed incorporating transgenic maize plants are provided.

INDIVIDUALIZED ANIMAL DRY FOOD COMPOSITION

The present invention relates to a method for providing an individualized nutritionally complete diet for an animal, in particular an animal with one or more pathological condition(s). The present invention also relates to a device for providing an individualized nutritionally complete diet for an animal, having means adapted to execute the steps of the method. The present invention also relates to a computer program to cause the device to execute the steps of the method. A computer-readable medium having stored thereon the computer program is further provided. Kits and compositions are further provided.
