Feed composition using perilla meal and method for producing thereof
The present invention relates to a feed composition using perilla meal, in which the ratio of omega-3 (omega-3) fatty acid and omega-6 (omega-6) fatty acid is adjusted to 1:4 or less to obtain livestock products, such as meat or milk, containing a large amount of unsaturated fatty acid. More specifically, the present invention related to a feed composition using perilla meal to produce livestock products with the ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids being 1:4 or less which is a recommended ratio of the World Health Organization (WHO).
REDOX ENZYMES IN ANIMAL FEED COMPOSITIONS
Novel polypeptides of fungal origin with catalase active are active, gastric stable and thermal stable, and effective for use in animal feed additives. The use of fungal catalases in animal feed improve animal growth, animal health and intestinal health of animals
AMINO ACID CHELATES FOR REDUCING OXIDATIVE STRESS
Provided herein are formulations and methods useful in the treatment of diseases and disorders in livestock due to oxidative stress. The formulations include metal amino acid chelates.
METHOD OF DETECTING, DETERMINING, AND TREATING HEAT STRESS BASED ON EXPRESSION OF GRP75 IN AVIAN SPECIES
This invention relates generally to a method of detecting, determining, and treating heat stress in avian species based on expression of GRP75. More particularly, the invention relates to a non-invasive and accurate process to evaluate heat stress in avian and poultry species, such as broiler chickens, layers, turkeys, breeders, and/or quail. The method uses GRP75 expression as a non-invasive marker for heat stress in avian species, and also provides for a method to rapidly evaluate and continuously treat and monitor dynamic change and time-course stress induced by heat stress load in the same individual poultry.
Use of copper-calcium sulphate as animal feed additive
Provided is a method of using a copper-calcium sulphate as an animal feed additive. When used in animal breeding, a low dose of the copper-calcium sulphate can achieve the effect of that high dosage of copper sulphate achieve in the promotion of animal growth, and thus the copper-calcium sulphate can be used as an animal basic nutritional supplement to substitute low-copper preparations in the breeding of poultry, livestock or aquatic animals. Copper-calcium sulphate, used as a novel, efficient and safe feed additive in the feed processing industry and animal breeding industry, can reduce the dosage of copper ion by nearly 50-70% to achieve the same production performance, can significantly reduce the use of copper in animal husbandry, and can reduce the production costs, reduce the toxic side effects of a high level of copper, and reduce the environmental pollution, thus the copper-calcium sulphate is a copper compound with unique advantages.
ELECTROLYTE COMPOSITION AND METHODS OF USE
The present invention pertains to the field of oral electrolyte solutions (OES), particularly OES for calves. Particularly the present invention is in the fields of reducing diarrhea, reducing body weight loss, reducing fecal water loss and/or improving blood acid-base balance in a calf suffering from diarrhea.
PEPTIDE FOR COMPLEXING ZINC ION, COMPLEX THEREOF AND USE THEREFOR
The invention provides a peptide for complexing zinc ion, complex thereof and use therefor. The amino acid composition and sequence of the peptide for complexing zinc ion are Lys-Tyr-Lys-Arg-Gln-Arg-Trp (SEQ ID NO: 1). The peptide for complexing is derived from soybean or peanut, is an inherent component of foods, and has a super strong complexing effect with zinc ions.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR DIGESTIVE HEALTH IN AN ANIMAL
A method of improving microbiome within an animal can include administering to the animal a composition containing a probiotic and psyllium. The probiotic has at least one of any suitable strain or subspecies of Enterococcus. Compositions containing a probiotic and psyllium are also provided herein.
FEED FOR ENHANCING IMMUNITY OF TILAPIA AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
A feed for enhancing immunity of tilapia and preparation method thereof, wherein the feed includes 20-30 parts of rice chaff, 15-25 parts of earthworm powder, 10-15 parts of shrimp shell powder, 10-15 parts of sodium alginate, 5-10 parts of oyster shell powder, 5-10 parts of cyclohexanone, 10-15 parts of honeysuckle extract, 3-5 parts of Commelina communis extract, 3-6 parts of β-1,3-glucan, 2-3 parts of flavomycin growth promoter, 1-3 parts of complex enzyme preparation, 5-8 parts of selenium methionine, 6-10 parts of distiller's grains, 1-3 parts of complex vitamins, 1-3 parts of complex trace elements and 2-3 parts of food attractant, in parts by weight.
Zinc oxide particle preparation and methods of use
A method of using ZnO particles for the treatment of colon cancer and a method of using the particles for reducing the concentration of an organic contaminant in an aqueous solution is described. The ZnO particles are substantially spherical and may have nanopetals that provide a nanoflower morphology. The synthesis and characterization of the ZnO particles is also discussed.
