A stowable and deployable shelter may include a frame structure with a first support arch pivotably attached to a base at a pair of pivot points, and a second support arch pivotably attached to the first support arch via a pair of slidable hinges. The slidable hinges are positioned to translate along the first support arch toward and away from the pair of pivot points. In some embodiments, at least one of the slidable hinges comprises a locking mechanism for releasably locking the at least one slidable hinge at a selected location along the first support arch. In some embodiments, the hinges may be fixed instead of being slidable. The support arches support a fabric shell to form an interior of the shelter. The base may include a sled container having runners for sliding through snow or across terrain.

A tip-up cover is provided that may be used during ice fishing. The tip-up cover may be set over a hole made in the ice during ice fishing to protect the hole from wind and snow. The tip-up cover may include a transparent lid such that a user can view the interior of the tip-up cover without opening the cover. Also, the lid allows a user to adjust a spool within the tip-up cover without requiring the user to completely remove the cover from the ice hole. Finally, the tip-up cover includes a flag and a bite-indicator light that provide visual cues to the user when a fish is caught on the line attached to the spool.

A tip-up cover is provided that may be used during ice fishing. The tip-up cover may be set over a hole made in the ice during ice fishing to protect the hole from wind and snow. An ice auger handle attachment assembly that includes a first bushing with a recess on the end side for a first pin of a handle, a second bushing with two symmetrical flat side surfaces made on the part of the length of the second bushing and having arcuate recesses that form stops. The second bushing partially covers the first bushing and is attached thereto by means of a stud fixed on the end of the handle. Further, a blocking element and the second pin pass through a slot in the second bushing and a hole in the stud. A spring is mounted on the stud between the first and second bushings, and a fork-shaped lever covering the second bushing in the area of the flat side surfaces and hinged thereon by means of the second pin.

An improved fishing rod holder (10) made of wire includes a U-shaped cradle (24) loosely suspended from an arm (20) attached at the upper end of a vertically extending leg (18), the leg is further secured at the bottom end to a base (15). In accordance with the invention the fishing rod holder is especially adapted to be reactive and responsive under the subtle conditions of ice fishing. Second (30) and third (50) embodiments are also disclosed.

This present invention relates to an ice fishing hole cover. The cover features a hinged door attached to the cover through mechanical attachments. The ice fishing hole cover includes a fishing line hole to allow a user to setup a fishing bait line through the cover.
