Disclosed is an ice hole liner with a handle. The liner is placed in an ice hole during freezing conditions with the outer wall of the liner contacting the inner wall of the ice hole. When the surface of the ice hole freezes the liner is pulled out of the frozen ice hole which clears the hole of ice. The liner also serves as a stable base to which fishing devices and rod holders can be attached so a fish can't pull them down the ice hole.

A fish attracting assembly includes a tree that is positionable between a collapsed position and a deployed position. The tree is may be inserted through an ice fishing hole when the tree is positioned in the collapsed position. The tree is substantially comprised of a buoyant material. Thus, the tree is positioned in the deployed position when the tree is inserted through the ice fishing hole. A camera is coupled to the tree and the camera captures images below the ice fishing hole. A light emitter is coupled to the tree and the light emitter emits light below the ice fishing hole.

A fish attracting assembly includes a tree that is positionable between a collapsed position and a deployed position. The tree is may be inserted through an ice fishing hole when the tree is positioned in the collapsed position. The tree is substantially comprised of a buoyant material. Thus, the tree is positioned in the deployed position when the tree is inserted through the ice fishing hole. A camera is coupled to the tree and the camera captures images below the ice fishing hole. A light emitter is coupled to the tree and the light emitter emits light below the ice fishing hole.

An Ice Hot Seat provides ice fishermen with both heat and light while fishing at night and includes a hollow cylindrical base in the shape of a bucket with a seat on top. A rectangular opening is near the bottom of the base. A liquid gas lantern is placed within the base and a seat having a specially designed heat tunnel is placed on the top of the base. The base is semi-transparent providing light for the nighttime angler. The heat tunnel channels heat from the lantern out through the front of the seat so that an angler can warm their hands. A band with pockets encircles the base to hold extra fishing articles.

Although the present invention primarily relates to ice fishing it would not be unreasonable to apply this invention to open water fishing. Conventional open water fishing rods could be used with this device when set on a dock, in a boat, or on the shore line.

A combination aeration and fishing hole deicing apparatus has a housing that is substantially egg-shaped, buoyant, and weighted with its contents towards the bottom of the housing, such that, when placed in water, the apparatus floats with a portion of the housing being submerged below the waterline. The egg shape of the housing promotes axial precession, or wobbling of the housing about its vertical axis while in operation. The egg-shape of the housing and precession promote relatively random lateral movement of the housing within the water in which it is placed, thereby serving to preclude an ice fishing hole in which the apparatus is placed from freezing shut. The apparatus may alternatively be placed in a bait bucket, aerating the surrounding water to aid in keeping bait fish alive until needed.

A fishing tip-up device for signaling when a fish is on the fishing hook. The fishing tip-up device includes a base assembly including a base member; a support assembly in communication with the base member and including a fishing pole support and a trip support; a trip assembly including a trip member pivotably mounted to the trip support and including a biased element in communication with the fishing pole support; and a fishing pole assembly including a pole holder in communication with the fishing pole support, a fishing pole coupled to the pole holder, and a spool of fishing line mounted to the fishing pole support with the fishing line in communication with the fishing pole.
