A fishing tip-up device for signaling when a fish is on the fishing hook. The fishing tip-up device includes a base assembly including a base member; a support assembly in communication with the base member and including a fishing pole support and a trip support; a trip assembly including a trip member pivotably mounted to the trip support and including a biased element in communication with the fishing pole support; and a fishing pole assembly including a pole holder in communication with the fishing pole support, a fishing pole coupled to the pole holder, and a spool of fishing line mounted to the fishing pole support with the fishing line in communication with the fishing pole.

An ice fishing tool takes the form of an articulating scoop or ladle for scooping out fish, ice, or debris configured as an ice fishing tool. The tool comprises a handle, a perforated scoop, and a shaft connecting the handle to the scoop. The tool also comprises an articulating actuating assembly made up of a spring and one or more pivotally-connected links that couple a handle trigger to the scoop. Actions of squeezing the handle trigger toward the handle and releasing the handle trigger cause the scoop to move between a position approximately parallel to the shaft and a position approximately perpendicular to the shaft.

Three or more folding legs are secured flat against the rod tube, and can be extended radially perpendicular to the rod body to span an ice fishing hole and support the rod vertically over the hole, or at an angle relative to the hole using two legs as a bipod. The grip handle contains an axial signal post selectively latched to the spool in the reel housing, the post released when a fish strikes the line. The rod can be immediately engaged as a reel-operated jigging rod from either the vertical or hybrid tip-up modes.

An ice fishing accessory support apparatus for supporting fishing accessories may comprise a base portion for resting upon a surface, and an upright portion mounted on the base portion. The upright portion may be movable with respect to the base portion between collapsed and deployed positions. The collapsed position may be characterized by the upright portion oriented substantially parallel to the base portion and the deployed position being characterized by the upright portion oriented substantially perpendicular to the base portion. At least one shelf portion may be mounted on the upright portion, and may be movable between a lowered position and a raised position. The raised position may be characterized by the shelf portion oriented substantially perpendicular to the upright portion and the lowered position being characterized by the shelf portion oriented substantially parallel to the upright portion.

An ice fishing accessory support apparatus for supporting fishing accessories may comprise a base portion for resting upon a surface, and an upright portion mounted on the base portion. The upright portion may be movable with respect to the base portion between collapsed and deployed positions. The collapsed position may be characterized by the upright portion oriented substantially parallel to the base portion and the deployed position being characterized by the upright portion oriented substantially perpendicular to the base portion. At least one shelf portion may be mounted on the upright portion, and may be movable between a lowered position and a raised position. The raised position may be characterized by the shelf portion oriented substantially perpendicular to the upright portion and the lowered position being characterized by the shelf portion oriented substantially parallel to the upright portion.

The present invention discloses an impact ice driller, which comprises a frame; a motor; a rotatable drill stem; a stationary element and a rotatable element disposed along a same axis and facing each other; wherein the stationary element is connected to the frame; the rotatable element is connected to the drill stem and synchronously moves with the drill stem as driven by the motor; the stationary element and the rotatable element each has an irregular surface capable of engaging with each other on each opposite surface, when the rotatable element rotates, the irregular surface of the stationary element and the irregular surface of the rotatable element can repeat engagement and separation, so that the rotatable element can repeat the movement along an axis relative to the stationary element. In this way, the drill stem can produce up-and-down impacts on ice cover ceaselessly in the ice drilling process with good ice drilling effect.

A stowable and deployable shelter may include a frame structure with a first support arch pivotably attached to a base at a pair of pivot points, and a second support arch pivotably attached to the first support arch via a pair of slidable hinges. The slidable hinges are positioned to translate along the first support arch toward and away from the pair of pivot points. In some embodiments, at least one of the slidable hinges includes a locking mechanism for releasably locking the at least one slidable hinge at a selected location along the first support arch. In some embodiments, the hinges may be fixed instead of being slidable. The support arches support a fabric shell to form an interior of the shelter. The base may include a sled container having runners for sliding through snow or across terrain.

A fishing apparatus sensing alarm unit having a processor and at least one sensor, the unit mounted to a fishing apparatus and configured to sense apparatus operation and provide an alarm sensing an apparatus operation event. Sensor can be a motion sensor and the unit mounted to a movable component of the apparatus, sensing movement thereof, and alarming upon sensing movement. Apparatus can be an ice fishing tip up to which the unit is mounted to a movable component, such as a flagpole or shaft, thereof. Sensor can be a magnetic sensor and the unit configured for sensing movement of a magnet of the apparatus and alarming upon sensing magnet movement. Magnet is carried by a base, shaft, or cross bar of the tip up or a spool of a fishing reel with the unit configured to sense magnet movement and output a fish strike alarm upon sensing magnet movement.
