One example provides a portable storage console including a body having an upper major surface including a number of storage compartments, and a lower major surface opposing the upper major surface. The lower major surface includes at least a first channel and a second channel, the first channel to selectively receive a component of a first fixture to releasably mount the storage console to the first fixture, and the second channel to selectively receive a component of a second fixture to releasably mount the storage console to the second fixture.

An improved and efficient ice-fishing tip-up spool having a generally cylindrical shape comprising an arbor configured within a first side wall and a second side wall, wherein the arbor has a diameter larger than conventional ice fishing tip-up spools. The larger arbor on the improved and efficient spool decreases the amount of fishing line required to have a full spool which can be achieved with less than 100 feet of fishing line. The large arbor spool also comprises a handle which is integrated onto the second wall and makes the spooling and re-spooling quicker in combination with the larger arbor as the fishing line spooled on per revolution is more than the fishing line spooled on per revolution by conventional ice fishing tip-up spools.

On the base is made a window, around said window are placed supports for the shaft with the reel. An insulating spacer is placed in a space between the cover and the base. The flag is installed by one end in the groove of the cover, and at the other end a hole is made for interacting with the flag fixing element. A reflective coating 3M is installed on the flag. The base, cover, signal flag and shaft are made of frost-resistant plastic. The base and cover are cylindrical.

In accordance with the invention the stand alone fishing rod holder can be adapted to fastening to a variety of surfaces such as a pale or wall by incorporating a U shaped extension arm (6) with thumb screw (7) thereby providing the ability to fasten fishing rod holder to a variety of surfaces such as a pail. In addition using L plate (11), spacer (9) and lock washer (10) and or mount plate (12) creates ability to mount on a flat surface such as a wall.

A protective storage tube convertible to tripod fishing rod holder having a strike indicator arm with a slidable trigger is disclosed that has multiple differing ways to establish a select fish strike tension among potential variable fish strike tensions.
