Securing Mechanism for Casing for Transporting Communications Computers and Electronics Racks
A casing for transporting a communication rack that includes a bottom plate, four side walls, a top side, and a securing mechanism that includes front and back beams and right and left brackets. Each beam has left and right ends with horizontal holes and each bracket has front and back ends with pieces with threaded hole. The front beam is connected onto a top side of the front margin of the bottom plate and the back beam is connected onto a top side of a back margin of the bottom plate.
MOMENTUM ARRESTING RAMP
A momentum arresting ramp that includes a plurality of steps that each includes a slider receiving surface and a transition surface. The steps may enable a device with wheels to be moved down the ramp by a user, without inconvenient gravity building momentum of the device down the ramp. For example, the steps may be spaced apart along a first axis such that a first slider of the device is never in contact with one of the transition surfaces when a second slider of the device is in contact with another one of the transition surfaces. The configuration of the steps and the sliders may enable the device (e.g., a device heavy enough to typically require two users to unload using a planar ramp) to be easily and conveniently unloaded by a single user.
Collapsible crate
A collapsible crate and a method for synchronizing a method of assembling a collapsible crate are provided. The collapsible crate comprising a base, a first panel, a second panel, and a band style fastener. The first panel and the second panel are at least partially disposed within gaps between stringers of the base. The band style fastener is disposed about a portion of the base and a portion of one of the first panel and the second panel. The band style fastener secures the one of the first panel and the second panel to the base. The first panel and the second panel at least partially disposed in the base facilitates a transition fit therebetween. The collapsible crate is compact when the crate is collapsed and decreases a cost of the crate.
A CORNER ELEMENT FOR A CAGE-LIKE STRUCTURE AND A CAGE-LIKE STRUCTURE PROVIDED WITH SUCH CORNER ELEMENTS
The invention relates to an element (1) to be arranged in a corner of a parallelepipedic cage-like structure where a bottom or a top plane of the structure meets two walls of the structure extending perpendicularly to this plane and to each other. The element (1) comprises a bottom portion (2), outer wall portions (6, 7), inner wall portions (9, 10) and wall members (16, 17) so as to receive components of said structure in the form of first and second board-like members, such as wooden planks, therebetween with wide sides of these board-like members bearing on each other. The inner wall portions (9, 10) each comprises a spring member (90, 100) configured to bear onto and urge a said second board-like member to press a said first board-like member against an outer wall portion (6, 7), so as to clamp these board-like members between a couple of inner (9, 10) and outer (6, 7) wall portions. The invention also relates to a cage-like structure provided with such elements (1) at said corners thereof.
Nailing machine for assembling wood pallets or the like
A nailing machine for assembling wood pallets includes a nailing station and an advancement and guiding component which form a substantially horizontal resting surface at the nailing station configured for the assembly of at least two superimposed wood pieces to be assembled by nailing to provide a pallet. The nailing station includes at least one nailing head, each of which is associated with at least one nailing stem, which can move along a substantially vertical direction with respect to the resting surface between an inactive position, in which the lower end of the nailing stem is spaced from the upper surface of the superimposed wood pieces, and an active position, in which the lower end of the nailing stem is moved closer to, or made to penetrate, the upper surface of the superimposed wood pieces.
Bulk material shipping container
A bulk material shipping container including a pallet, a compartment configured to receive, hold, and release materials and connected to and supported by the pallet, a material unloading assembly positioned under a bottom portion of the compartment, configured to facilitate the release or unloading of materials from the compartment, and connected to and supported by the pallet, and a material loading assembly configured to facilitate the loading of material into the compartment and connected to and partially supported by a top wall assembly of the compartment.
Securing Mechanism for Casing for Transporting Communications Computers and Electronics Racks
A casing for transporting a communication rack that includes a bottom plate, four side walls, a top side and a securing mechanism for securing the communication rack to the bottom plate. The securing mechanism includes two beams and two supporting brackets. Each beam includes two holes and each end of each supporting bracket includes a piece with a threaded hole. The beams are designed to be connected to an upper side of the bottom plate and the supporting brackets are designed to be connected to two side walls of the communication rack. By that enabling to screw four screws that pass through the holes in the beams into the threaded holes in the supporting brackets for securing the communication rack to the bottom plate, and preventing the possibility to attach the side walls to the bottom plate before screwing these four screws.
BULK MATERIAL SHIPPING CONTAINER TOP WALL ASSEMBLY AND BULK MATERIAL SHIPPING CONTAINER HAVING A TOP WALL ASSEMBLY
Various embodiments provide a bulk material shipping container top wall assembly, and a bulk material shipping container including the top wall assembly, that provides various advantages over previously known commercially available bulk shipping material container top wall assemblies and bulk shipping material containers.
PALLET AND PANEL STORAGE SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS
Disclosed are systems, apparatus and methods for transporting a palletized stack of bottles or other similar bulk-produced containers using a unique pallet base and a unique set of side panels that may be engaged with the base and with each other in order to protect the stacks of bottles on the pallet base during shipping and transport. Embodiments of the invention dampen vibrations, protect the bottles from exterior contaminants, and allow the bottles to be viewed from the outside. Embodiments of the invention also provide reusable pallet systems that are easy to assemble and disassemble, and ship back for reuse.
Transport container
A transport container for carrying objects includes a base for supporting the objects. Opposing first and second side walls are operatively connected to the base. At least one of the side walls is movable between an extended position and a contracted position. The transport container has a first width between the first and second side walls when at least one of the side walls is in the extended position and a second width between the side walls when at least one of the side walls is in the contracted position. The second width is different from the first width. The first and second side walls are also movable between a deployed position and a collapsed position. The transport container has a first height when the side walls are in the deployed position and a second height different than the first height when the side walls are in the collapsed position.
