This disclosure provides a configurable pallet or load-bearing platform, such as a pallet, for supporting goods. The load-bearing platform may include one or more plastic bases having two or more protrusions connected by one or more bridge pieces. The two or more protrusions are spaced apart one or more distances. The load-bearing platform further includes a cardboard base having openings spaced apart an amount wherein the openings are configured to receive the two or more protrusions of the plastic base. A load distribution member may be included and configured to contact at least a portion of the plastic base. The load distribution member may support at least a portion of the goods and distributes at least a portion of the weight of the goods to at least a portion of the plastic base. The size of the cardboard base, as well as other components of the load-bearing platform, in certain implementations, may be customized on demand.

A container that is formed from a plurality of panels that are joined to each other by a plurality of edge brackets. Each of the edge brackets includes a first channel member and a second channel member that are joined to each other. The first channel member includes a first receiving channel and the second channel member includes a second receiving channel. The first and second receiving channels are arranged to be perpendicular to each other and are each sided to receive a side edge of one of the panels that form the container. The series of edge brackets can be used to securely assembly the container from the plurality of panels after the disassembled container has been shipped.

The method further includes coupling the pallet support column to at least one of a bottom member or a top member of the pallet.

The method further includes folding a second portion of the pallet support column to engage the vertical support structure. The method further includes gluing at least a portion of the second portion to the first portion. The method further includes coupling the pallet support column to at least one of a bottom member or a top member of the pallet.

The packing body includes a bottom plate on which the packed body is placed, a box body that covers the packed body, and a restricting member, of which one end is fixed to the bottom plate and the other end protrudes toward a base body of the packed body with a gap and that restricts lateral movement of the packed body by coming into contact with the base body of the packed body in a case where the packed body has moved laterally. The restricting member is configured to penetrate through a hole provided in the base body of the packed body. Clearance between the restricting member and the hole of the base body is larger than a gap between an inner surface of the box body and the packed body.
