Collapsible containers including attachment brackets
A container includes a first panel with a detent and a pin extending therefrom, a second panel that extends transverse to the first panel, and a bracket removably coupled to the first panel via engagement with the detent and the pin such that the bracket prevents movement of the second panel relative to the first panel. The detent is selectively depressed to thereby decouple the bracket from the first panel.
Storage chest with secondary storage compartment
An example storage chest is provided. The example storage chest may include a box portion and a lid. The box portion may include a front wall, a rear wall, and a floor attached to the front and rear walls to form a primary compartment for storage of items. The lid may include a front panel, a rear panel, and a top panel attached to the front a rear panels. The rear panel may be pivotably coupled to the rear wall of the box portion. The front panel, the rear panel, and the top panel may define a secondary compartment within the lid for storage of items. The secondary compartment may include a lid storage compartment comprising a hingedly affixed door.
Flat-pack shipping container
The present invention relates to a folding container (100) that comprises a base (102) further comprising a floor (112). At least two side panels (104, 104′) are mechanically attached to the base. A rear panel (106) comprises rear hinges (118) attached thereto that are pivotably connected to the base (102) and operable to pivot between a folded position that contacts the floor and a vertically deployed position. A hinge block (119) is attached to the base (102). A front panel (108) comprising a front door (109), and further comprising front hinges (122) is pivotably connected to the hinge block (119), and operable to pivot between a folded position that contacts the front panel (108) and a vertically deployed position.
KNOCK-DOWN CRATE FOR DURABLE GOODS
A knock-down container readily assembled from a pallet, side support members, and a top frame pivotably changeable from a symmetric first configuration square for capping the container to a second collapsed configuration for component shipping, for containing durable goods for storage and shipping. The top frame has corner supports pivotally connected to a pair of opposing end members and connected to a pair of opposing side members, being movable from the first configuration for capping the knock-down container and the second configuration pivoted for collapsing the opposing side members together for shipping as a component.
FLAT-PACK SHIPPING CONTAINER
The present invention relates to a method of assembling a folding container. A base comprising a floor is provided, and at least two side panels are attached to the base. A rear panel is pivotally attached to the base, wherein the rear panel is operable to pivot between a folded position that contacts the floor and a vertically deployed position. A hinge block is attached to the base. A front panel comprising a front door is pivotally attached to the hinge block, wherein the front panel is operable to pivot between a folded position that contacts the front panel and a vertically deployed position.
Packaging Assemblies for Product Components, and Related Methods
A packaging assembly is provided for holding multiple different product components, where the different product components are usable together to form a product. The packaging assembly includes a base and at least one sidewall coupled to the base. A first compartment is disposed generally above the base and is configured to hold a first component. A second compartment is disposed generally above the first compartment and is configured to hold a second component. The packaging assembly also includes a divider positioned between the first and second compartments, a lid disposed generally over the second compartment, at least one securing device configured to secure the lid to the at least one sidewall, and at least one cross member disposed generally above the lid which is coupled to the at least one sidewall.
Low Stress Packaging Design to Minimize Pellet Blocking
Packaging configuration comprising: a pallet comprising a top surface, a bottom surface and a height HP; a first stack of bagged goods having a total height HL 1, stacked on the pallet and comprising at least two layers; and a support structure comprising at least four walls situated over the first stack of bagged goods, one of the walls being a top wall and at least three of the walls being sidewalls. The support structure has a height HC that meets one of the following equations: HC>HL 1, when the bottom end of at least one sidewall of the support structure is positioned on the top surface of the at least one pallet; or HC>HP+HL 1, when the bottom end of at least one sidewall of the support structure and the bottom surface of the pallet are both positioned on the same surface. An air gap having a height HAG is situated between a top layer of the first stack of bagged goods and the top wall of the support structure.
