Described is a pallet including a base having a length extending between a first end and a second end opposite the first end and a width transverse to the length; and a cage removably coupled to the base.

A system and technique has been developed to print graphics on a pallet. In one form, the graphics are printed on one of the decks of the pallet. The graphics in one variation are printed on a deck that is in the form of a flat, contiguous surface via a flatbed printer. The flatbed printer has a printer head that forms a gap that is able to accommodate the deck of the pallet. After printing, the deck is assembled with the rest of the pallet. The graphics can include text and images. In one form, the graphics include a packing template that shows how at least one packing layer should be packed on the pallet.

A container includes a receptacle including an upright receptacle side and a receptacle bottom that cooperate to at least partly define a container chamber. The bottom presents a peripheral margin, with the side being attached to the bottom along the peripheral margin and extending upwardly relative to the bottom along an upright container axis. The receptacle further includes a drain configured to permit material flow out of the chamber, with the drain intersecting the bottom to define a drain opening that fluidly communicates with the chamber. The drain opening is spaced inboard from the peripheral margin and is laterally offset from the container axis in an offset direction. The bottom includes first and second floor sections extending inboard from the peripheral margin and joined relative to each other along a first gutter area adjacent the drain opening. The first floor section slopes downwardly toward the first gutter area in the offset direction and the second floor section slopes downwardly toward the first gutter area in a direction opposite the offset direction, with the floor sections configured to cooperatively advance material within the chamber toward the drain opening.

An adapter element and a transport platform, such as a dolly (1), including at least one such adapter element (5), said at least one adapter element (5) being connected or connectable to the dolly (1) and having a rim portion (6) protruding from a deck (2) of the dolly (1) for restraining loads placed on top of the deck (2) at least in a lateral direction, wherein the at least one adapter element (5) is provided with one or more legs (8, 12; 8, 12, 17, 18) each comprising an engagement portion (9, 13; 9;13, 19, 20), preferably tabs or protrusions, for being received and snap-fitted into a corresponding opening (10, 15) provided in the deck (2). An outer leg (12) of the one or more legs (8, 2; 8, 12, 17, 18) is formed as a tab or tongue having a through hole (13) which serves as an engagement portion of the outer leg (12).

The present invention relates to a pallet with impact resistant columns (3) comprising a structure for the distribution of impact energy (4) configured for the distribution of impact forces, at the same time as its internal structure deforms and is compacted upon receiving impacts, such that the pallet remains functional although its columns (3) are permanently deformed and/or partially fractured.

A pallet lift includes a pair of outer tines movable between an expanded position spaced outward away from inner tines and a retracted position adjacent the inner tines. The inner and outer tines are supported by wheels at locations spaced away from the lift mechanism. A pallet includes a plurality of nestable feet that open outwardly of the pallet to reduce the footprint. A second pallet includes a side wall extending downward from side edges of the pallet to define an opening adjacent outer feet.

Improved equipment bases and methods for making and using same are disclosed herein. The equipment base can include a first coated substrate including a first part having a first thickness sized to provide the load-bearing support for the equipment, a first elastomer coating the first part, a second coated substrate positioned adjacent to the first coated substrate, the second coated substrate including a second part having a second thickness sized to provide the load-bearing support for the equipment, and a second elastomer coating the second part. A first seam can be formed between the first and second coated substrates to allow for moisture to pass between the first and second coated substrates so that moisture is allowed to seep away from the bottom of the equipment.

An equal-fork pallet comprising a pallet body is provided. The pallet body is provided with a stand structure and a reinforcing structure, the reinforcing structure is a reinforcing rib embodied by a groove structure pressed on the surface of the pallet body, and the reinforcing rib comprises a connection type reinforcing rib and a semi-partition type reinforcing rib, the stand structure comprises a corner stand, an edge stand and a center stand, and neither end of the partition type reinforcing rib is connected to the stand. The equal-fork pallet has a reasonable structural design and strong pressure bearing capacity, with targeted layout and design of the reinforcing rib centralized position and stress concentration position such as stand. The pallet can overcome the problems of low local compressive strength and proneness to produce stress fracture and local cracking.

The present invention provides a thinner, movable load bearing structure having indentations, grooves, valleys, channels or other similar depressions on its underside. These depressions are mated with corresponding features for improved loading bearing capabilities. The load bearing structures also includes roughened side edges for improving the strength of the edges. The load bearing structure may be a dunnage platform or a container for storing and/or shipping cargo.
