RACKABLE PALLET WITH CONFIGURABLE DECK HEIGHT

A pallet includes an upper structure and a lower structure. The upper structure includes an upper deck and a plurality of upper column portions projecting downward from the upper deck. The lower structure includes a plurality of lower column portions. The upper column portions and the lower column portions are configured such that the upper deck is configured at first height when the upper structure is secured to the lower structure in a first orientation and the upper deck is configured at a second height when the upper structure is secured to the lower structure at a second orientation. Optionally, the upper deck of the pallet includes a plurality of perimeter regions into which a desired one of a plurality of inserts can be secured to produce pallets with different perimeter options.

Light weight plastic pallet

The presently disclosed pallet is made of plastic, optionally recycled plastic, is low weight, and can handle weight up to more than 2.75 tons as a stacking load. The pallet has a unique design of ribs forming an upper deck and a lower deck to hold the required load. The upper deck and lower deck of the pallet are separated by a group of legs. Cross ribs are provided in each of the upper and lower decks and are oriented perpendicularly to reduce the weight of the pallet without significantly reducing its strength.

A pallet assembly includes a top deck having a load bearing surface and a first interlock pattern disposed on at least a portion of the top deck. At least one vertical support is connected to the top deck and extends perpendicularly from a central axis below the top deck and includes stabilizing feet which extend longitudinally along a width direction of the top deck. A second interlock pattern is disposed on all or a portion of the at least one vertical support or the stabilizing feet. One of the first interlock pattern and the second interlock pattern includes one or more protrusions, while the other of the first interlock pattern and the second interlock pattern includes apertures or channels for receiving the one or more protrusions.
