Apparatus for storing, transporting and distributing kegs

A method and apparatus for storing, transporting and distributing kegs. The apparatus comprising a keg shelving assembly with two or more stacked shelves. The shelves containing individual keg slots formed by two or more horizontally disposed rails. Stored kegs within the keg slots are accessed by a vertical sliding frame within a fixed frame vertical guidance assembly. A hinged platform is fixed to the vertical sliding frame having an open, horizontal position and a close vertical position relative to the vertical sliding frame. The apparatus further comprises a braking assembly that utilizes the downward force created by a load on the platform, to create a braking action opposing the downward force. This action allows a user to easily and efficiently lower a keg from one of the stacked shelves.

Frame for pallets

A height-adjustable frame for a pallet and for accommodating an insert for goods has supports including upper and lower elements connected to one another via a hinge. The lower element and the upper elements can be pivoted towards and away from one another. In a first position, the upper and lower elements are moved towards one another and the support forms a maximum height. In a second position, the lower element is pivoted away from the upper element, and the support forms a sub-height. A height adjustment allows goods of different sizes to be transported via an insert, which is fastened on the frame. The height adjustment allows goods to be transported using inserts of different depths and allows empty transportation with a smaller volume. The frame is stackable and can be transported using pallet containers or twin-wall sheets.

The frame has corner brackets at each corner of the pallet. Each corner bracket comprises a bottom plate proximate a bottom of the pallet, a top plate proximate a top of the pallet, and a pair of contiguous side walls extending between the top and bottom plates. The pair of side walls adjoin one another and forms a box with a pair of contiguous side openings opposite the pair of contiguous side walls. Each corner bracket has a pocket to receive a respective corner of the pallet.

Wall element

According to a first aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a wall element for a load carrier. The wall element has a body with a frame, which defines at least one opening. The wall element features at least one panel for covering the at least one opening of the frame. The wall element further features a cover strip for detachable attachment to the body through a reversible attachment interface between the cover strip and the body to secure the at least one panel to the at least one opening.
