A height-adjustable frame (1) for a pallet (P) and for accommodating an insert (3) for goods has supports (2) including an upper element (6) and a lower element (7), which are connected to one another by means of a hinge (8). By means of the hinge (8), the lower element and the upper elements (6, 7) can be pivoted towards one another and away from one another. In a first position, the upper element and lower element (6, 7) have been moved towards one another and the support (2) forms a maximum height. In a second position, the lower element (7) has been pivoted away from the upper element (6), the support (2) forms a sub-height. A height adjustment makes it possible for goods of different sizes to be transported by means of an insert (3), which is fastened on the frame (1). The height adjustment is easy to achieve and allows goods to be transported using inserts (3) of different depths and also allows empty transportation with a smaller volume. The frame (1) is stackable and can be transported by means of pallet containers or twin-wall sheets.

A pallet comprising: (a) a base tray having one or more walls extending upward from the tray to create a perimeter around a central portion of the base tray; (b) an insert disposed on the central portion of the tray within the perimeter of the base tray, the insert being recessed from a terminal edge of the one or more walls; (c) a post secured within the perimeter of the tray and extend away from the base tray; and (d) a support assembly secured to the insert and positioned along the central portion of the base tray free of contact with the one or more walls, wherein the support includes a pair of support panels that are interconnected and secured to the insert free of an adhesive.

A packaging system includes an inner box and an outer box. The inner box is adapted to receive items to be transported and has a base, a side wall and a lid. The outer box is adapted to house the inner box and has a base, a side wall and a lid. The base and the lid of the outer box are adapted to form a flat pack that houses a folded-down form of the inner box and of the side wall of the outer box for transport within the flat pack. The folded-down form of the inner box can be removed from the flat pack and assembled to form the inner box. The folded down form of the side wall of the outer box can be removed from the flat pack and assembled together with the base and the lid of the outer box to form the outer box.

Described herein are collapsible containers for transportation of cargo, and methods of using them. The containers may include textured bottom surfaces to facilitate positive engagement with a conveyor. In some embodiments, the containers include secure locking mechanisms that prevent inadvertent unlocking while also permitting one-handed operation. In some embodiments, the containers include adapters to facilitate discharge of liquid cargo.

A system, method, and device for shipping, transporting, storing, and managing logistics of a variety of cargo. A crate is disclosed that allows for easy and inexpensive return shipment (reverse logistics) after use through a collapsible, interlocking system of a pallet base, foldable side wall assemblies, and a lid that can be removably connected to one another. The crate can utilize guide protrusions and corresponding guide recesses to fit the components together. The height of the crate can be increased by additional tiers of side walls. Latch assemblies can be utilized to fasten adjacent components together. The crate may include a tracking or monitoring device that can monitor one or more of humidity, temperature, tilt, impact, vibration, and variety of desired conditions. The system may include Bluetooth beacons on each of the components and a Bluetooth sensor in the monitoring device in the pallet base to monitor disassembled components.

A system for palletizing cargo includes a number of components that may be combined to produce an assembled pallet of cargo. A pallet base provides a cargo area where a payload may be stacked. The pallet base includes protective features such as feet that raise the payload above surface level, bumpers that prevent and absorb impacts to the pallet base, and a rim that encircles the cargo area. A pallet top is placed on top of the payload, opposite the pallet base, and a set of straps are used to connect the pallet base to the pallet top and friction fit the payload therebetween. Each of the base and top include a series of holes and spacers that allow airflow to pass around the bottom and top of the payload, while the bumpers allow airflow around the sides, even when the assembled pallets are surrounded by other cargo.

The container has a base, a side wall, and at least one outlet recess in the base and/or the side wall, in which an outlet valve is or can be arranged and which is closable on the outside of the container by a cover. The cover has a base section, by which the cover is fastened or fastenable to the container, and a closure section which is hinged on the base section via a hinge assembly such that it can pivot about a rotational axis. The hinge assembly can hold or lock the closure section in a self-supporting manner in a position releasing the outlet recess.

The external support structure has a base structure arranged below the tank, such that a base of the tank is supported on the base structure. The external support structure also has an upper support structure arranged above the tank for absorbing loads exerted on the tank from above. The base structure includes a plurality of lower column portions, and the upper support structure includes a plurality of corresponding upper column portions, which each project from opposing faces of the base structure and the upper support structure respectively and which meet somewhere along the height of the tank, thereby forming a number of columns for laterally supporting the tank.
