COMPOSITION COMPRISING AMINO ACIDS AND A LIPID MATRIX FOR NON-MAMMALIAN MONOGASTRIC ANIMALS AND USE THEREOF
A composition for use in a method for the treatment of an amino acid deficiency to a non-mammalian monogastric animal, such as a poultry animal, a fish or a crustacean is described, wherein said composition comprises (i) a mixture of active components comprising or, alternatively, consisting of at least one amino acid or an analogue, (ii) a lipid matrix embedding said (i) mixture of active components and, optionally, (iii) at least one acceptable pharmaceutical or food grade additive and/or excipient. Furthermore, a feed or feed additive for a non-mammalian monogastric animal, such as poultry species and/or aquatic species comprising the composition is also described.
ATTENUATED SALMONELLA GALLINARUM MUTANT STRAINS AND USES THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to Salmonella Gallinarum mutant strains and uses thereof. A vaccine composition according to an aspect has no risk of recovering pathogenicity, has no residual pathogenicity due to detoxification of an endotoxin, and does not cause lesions and bacterial re-isolation, thereby exhibiting significantly improved safety compared to the existing fowl typhoid vaccines. In addition, since the vaccine composition induces a high-level immune response even when administered to young chicks, it may be used regardless of age, and as the vaccine strain may be used as a live vaccine having an excellent protective capability by itself, the vaccine composition may be useful for preventing and alleviating fowl typhoid.

Use of edible-oil-processing spent bleaching earth in formulating poultry and livestock feed products
The present invention provides a novel method for disposing of spent bleaching earth that is economically beneficial and avoids the problems typically associated with its disposal. By adding fine-particle lime (calcium carbonate) to the spent bleaching earth discharged from the process filters, spontaneous combustion can be eliminated. The material can then be transported in solid form to a production facility for use as a nutritious ingredient in making a wide range of feed products for poultry and livestock.

Methods of microbial treatment of poultry
Disclosed are methods of administering one or more Bacillus strains to poultry. The Bacillus strains improve bacterial homeostasis in the gastrointestinal tract by inhibiting bacterial pathogens such as E. coli and Clostridium. Administering the Bacillus strains also improves performance such as weight gain and feed conversion. Useful combinations of Bacillus strains and methods of using one or more Bacillus strains are also provided.
