Tamper Evident Lid and Method of Making Same
A tamper resistant, push-on closure member for a container. The closure has a top cylindrical band portion, a bottom cylindrical band portion and a top cover. The top band has a plurality of continuous annular ridges extending inwardly along the circumference of its inner surface for contacting the side surface of the container. The bottom band has plurality of rigid teeth extending from a lower peripheral margin of the bottom band in an upward and inward direction for locking engagement against the lip of the container. The plurality of teeth are connected to a lower peripheral margin of the top band by a plurality of projections for providing a visual tamper evident indication. A plurality of tooth channels positioned between the lower margin of the top band and the upper margin of the bottom band for facilitating the flow of plastic resin during the production of the plurality of teeth.
Molded fiber packaging
Packaging used to hold and ship consumer products may include components having complementary edges that are coupled together when the packaging is assembled. The packaging may also display a product in an aesthetically appealing way by holding the product in way that makes it appear as if the product is “floating.” The packaging may be made of recyclable and/or biodegradable material, such as molded fiber paper material that reduces the environmental impact of the packaging.
LID FOR A CUP
A lid for a cup for beverages may include an annular lid bottom part, which can be placed on an upper cup edge, and a substantially circular lid disk. The lid bottom part and lid disk may be made of paper and may be connected in a liquid-tight manner along an edge groove pointing downwards in the direction of the cup and along an edge flange. The edge flange may point upwards in the opposite direction and may be inserted in the edge groove.
Method for preparing a pulp molded cup lid with buckles without overlapping curves on both surfaces
A method for preparing a pulp molded cup lid with buckles without overlapping curves on both surfaces, comprising: diluting plant fiber into pulp and placing it into a forming mold with a filter screen to form a paper embryo through vacuum adsorption; assembling the forming mold with a transfer mold under no pressure for vacuumization to obtain a paper embryo; transferring the paper embryo into a heat setting mold without mesh screen and assembling the mold under no pressure to obtain a cup lid body with stiffening ribs; then stamping into a finished cup lid. The cup lid has smooth internal and external surfaces without overlapping curves and no paper fiber dissolved out at the places where the internal surface and the liquid contact and the suction port and the labial part of the user contact; buckles improves the strength of the cup lid and the leakproofness.
Paper Lid and Method for Producing Paper Lid
A paper lid for a container includes a body portion, a top lid portion having an outer periphery surrounded by the body portion, and an engaging portion in the body portion that includes a tapered portion tapering in the same direction as the container taper and engages with the container curl portion. The body portion has a first end portion for mounting on the container and an opposite second end portion. The outer periphery is bent toward the first end portion, and has a bent portion bonded to the body portion. A part other than the outer periphery is between the engaging portion and the second end portion. An inner diameter of a tip of the tapered portion is smaller than an outer diameter of the container curl portion. Where the lid closes the container opening, the container curl portion contacts an inner part of the tapered portion.
BUCKLING STRUCTURE FOR COVER AND BOX OF PAPER-PLASTIC CONTAINER
A buckling structure includes a cover and a box, wherein the cover and box are each made of paper, plastic, or a combination thereof. In one embodiment, the box includes a box body and a straight line part extending out of an edge of the box body; and the lid is configured to cover the box and includes a lid wall extending out of an edge of the lid body, and a flange arranged on an inner side wall of the lid wall, wherein the flange and the lid body are spaced apart, and wherein in a cross section along a central axis of the box body, the angle between the straight line part and the central axis is smaller than or equal to 90 degrees, wherein in the cross section along the central axis of the box body, the flange comprises a section of lead-in part, a section of smooth part connected to the lead-in part, and a section of buckling part connected to the smooth part, the maximum diameter of the straight line part being greater than or equal to the minimum diameter of the lid wall, the buckling part is arc-shaped and has a central angle that is greater than 90 degrees, and when the lid is disposed over and fitted to the box, the straight line part is configured to be clamped between the buckling part and the lid body.
SNAP-FITTING STRUCTURE OF PAPER AND PLASTIC CONTAINER
A snap-fitting structure comprising a container and cover each made of paper, plastic, or a combination of both. In one embodiment, the cover includes a cover bottom and a cover wall extending out of an edge of the cover bottom, wherein a flange is disposed on an inner side wall of the cover wall, and the flange and the cover bottom are arranged at an interval. In this embodiment, the container may include a container body and a clamping portion extending out of an edge of the container body, the clamping portion comprising a connecting portion connected to the container body and a clamp ring extending out of the connecting portion. In a cross section along a central axis of the container body, the angle between a contour line of the connecting portion and the central axis of the container body is an acute angle and a contour line of the clamp ring is parallel to the central axis of the container body. Further, an outer diameter of the clamp ring is equivalent to an inner diameter of the cover wall, and the clamp ring is capable of being flexibly positioned between the flange and the cover bottom when the cover is disposed over and fitted to the container.
DETERGENT PRODUCT CONTAINER WITH LOCK AND TOP PANEL
Examples include a consumer product comprising a box comprising a detergent product, a lid and a lock. The lid comprises flanks covering a specific portion of a specific sidewall of the box. The lock comprises a specific actuator moveable by pressure, the actuator being connected to the specific portion, the flanks comprising an actuation area facing the actuator and permitting displacing it by applying the pressure. A top panel of the box comprises an opening and a top panel section joining at least a part of the specific sidewall to at least a part of an opposite sidewall, the opposite sidewall being opposite to the specific sidewall. The specific actuation area defines a specific centroid separated from the top of the lid by less than 5 cm and by more than 0.5 cm, and from a distal end of the specific flank by more than 0.5 cm.
