Measurable Disposable Container with Lid
A disposable, bio-degradable food and beverage storage container, preferably of cardboard construction. The storage container is comprised of a cylindrical body portion and a removable lid having a seal that is also comprised of a biodegradable material. The interior surface of the body portion of the storage container is further comprised of an embossed portion line and a portion indicator. In one embodiment of the storage container, the body portion comprises a pair of opposing and spaced apart mixers fixedly attached to the interior surface for the mixing and/or agitation of the contents of the storage device in a spill-proof manner.
TAMPER EVIDENT LID
An improved tamper evident lid for a container is provided. The lid includes an annular sidewall with an upper section and a lower section connected together by a weakened portion. The lid includes one or more tamper evident locking components for securing the lid to the container. Each locking component extends inward from an interior surface of the lower sidewall section with a top wall that connects the locking component to the upper sidewall section. The lid includes a void space defined into the exterior of the annular sidewall and corresponding to each locking component. Each locking component forms a continuous enclosure separating the void spaces from the interior of the lid and preventing leakage of contents through void spaces. The void spaces and the weakened portion create a line of weakness that can provide visual evidence of tampering once the lid has been secured to a container.
PULP-MOLDED PAPER LID FOR BEVERAGE CUP AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME
A pulp-molded paper lid for a beverage cup and a method for fabricating the same is introduced. While said pulp-molded paper lid bears an external pressure to accommodate the convex-ridge ring of the cup body therein, by preloading of an insertion force of said convex-ridge ring, a generating-elasticity device of said pulp-molded paper lid is pre-compressed to compressively deform, along inward directions respectively opposite to radial directions of said pulp-molded paper lid. By removal of said external pressure, a movable bearing wall and an outermost sidewall of said generating-elasticity device exert two reversed elastically-rebound forces by a stretched deformation occurring therebetween, for clamp-retaining two opposed sides of said convex-ridge ring. Said generating-elasticity device is released from the pre-compression to exert preloaded elastic forces along said radial directions, for strengthening the clamp-retention and avoiding the technical problems of the prior arts.
Hot cup lid system
A lid has a generally planar top with a front and a rear and sides there between. The planar top is circular with a center. The planar top includes a well section. Walls bound the well section. The walls extend upwardly from a location between the front and the center of the planar top. The walls have a thickness greater than all other regions of the lid. A drink hole is formed in the well section.
DRINK LID ARRANGEMENTS AND METHODS
An apparatus can include a generally planar portion approximately in a plane. The apparatus can also include a lip portion extending in a direction generally orthogonal to the plane. The generally planar portion is joined to the lip portion at a circumferential edge of the generally planar portion to form a cover for a beverage container. Likewise, a method can include providing contact information on a disposable cover adapted to cover a beverage container. The contact information is not necessarily provided by the manufacturer of the beverage or beverage container. The method can also include receiving contact from a user of the disposable cover. The method can further include coordinating the delivery of a service to the user of the disposable cover responsive to the contact received from the user.
Multi-function container lid
A dome-shaped lid reversibly securably sealed to the rim of a container with two opposing drinking ports die-cut in the top wall of a brim mount. A reclosable fold-back hatch cover recessed within the brim mount rotates about a U-shaped hinge between a closed and opened position quickly and reliably. When the hatch cover is rotated to its opened position it creates a hatch opening of sufficient size to access the beverage for the following purposes, including, but not limited to, dunking a confection, letting steam escape to cool a hot beverage, adding condiments, stirring the beverage, or adding and removing toppings such as whipped cream on the surface of the beverage, performed with the lid remaining fixed to the container rim.
PAPER-BASED CONTAINER LIDS AND METHODS FOR MAKING THE SAME
A paper-based container lid comprises a top wall, a side wall connecting to the top wall, and a sealing channel formed on the side wall for sealingly engaging a rim of the container and securing the lid to the container, wherein the top wall and the side wall are preferably formed from separate blanks.
Container comprising integral film lid
A container of the present invention may include a base, a lip extending around the periphery of the base, a perforation defined by the lip, and a lid adhered to the lip, wherein the lid includes a first undercut, wherein the first undercut overlaps the perforation. The perforation and undercut allow for a portion of the lid to remain on the lip after the lid has been opened. The portion remaining on the lid may include an outwardly facing adhesive surface, configured to adhere to the lid to reseal the lid to the base once the lid is closed after the initial opening. As such, the lid is permanently adhered to a first portion of the lip and resealably adhered to a second portion of the lip. The first portion may be an outer lip portion and the second portion may be an inner lip portion.
Paper lid for a container
The invention relates to a lid for closing a container, preferably a cup, the lid being made from a paper- or a cardboard-material, wherein the lid comprises a topwall which covers the opening of the container and a sidewall directed at an angle relative to the topwall, wherein one end of the sidewall can engage sealingly with the top end of the container. The present invention further relates to a set comprising a lid and a container.
