A container comprises: a tub (22) having a bottom (50) and four sides (56, 58, 60, 62), adjacent said sides joined at junctions; and a closure (24). The closure comprises: a lid (28); a living hinge member (26) unitarily formed with the lid and coupling the lid to the tub so as to allow the lid to shift between a closed condition and an open condition, the living hinge having an insertion portion (222) received in a pocket (82) of the tub.

LIDDED CONTAINER

In a container having a lid member coupled to a container body by a hinge, the lid member includes a top surface, an inner ring formed on the top surface, and a projected part is formed on the top surface concentrically with the inner ring and which has an outer peripheral surface provided with an outer peripheral surface projection along the circumferential direction. The container body has a sidewall with a first inner peripheral surface having an inner peripheral surface projection formed along the circumferential direction, and a second inner peripheral surface having an inner diameter different from that of the first inner peripheral surface. When the lid member is closed, the inner ring seals the container body by being fitted to the second inner peripheral surface. The outer peripheral surface projection contacts and slides over the inner peripheral surface projection to lock the lid member the container body.

VIAL WITH NON-ROUND SEAL

A moisture-tight, re-sealable container is disclosed having a lid and body. The lid and body have a non-round seal that is substantially moisture tight when the lid is seated on the body, admitting less than 1000 micrograms per day of water to a package. A reinforcement stiffens or reinforces at least a portion of the seal against inward deflection along an axis defined by the minor diameter when the lid is seated on the body. Optionally the reinforcement is at least one spline subdividing the reservoir. A method of making dispensers for objects of varying length to customize particular dispensers to dispense such objects of a particular length is also disclosed.

Lid For Container

An insulating container can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The opening can be sealed by a closure, the closure having an upper portion with a handle that has a circular curvature equal to the cylindrical portion of the closure. The closure may also have a lower portion that is joined to the upper portion by an injection molded polymer element. The closure may also be in the form of “flip” type of closure such that the lid can be selectably opened or closed by the user by rotating a flip closure into either the opened or closed position. The closure may also be a two-part lid having a lower cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the container and an upper cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the lower cap.

MODULAR SYSTEM FOR INVENTORY AND TRANSPORT EFFICIENCY OF PACKAGING

Disclosed herein are modular container systems having child-resistant containers, tray inserts and tray frames. Also disclosed are methods using the modular container systems and methods of storing substances in containers. The containers have a container base and a container cap and provide for child-resistant containers. A user can releasably remove the container cap from container base with a squeeze and lift sequence. For example, the user squeezes opposite sides of the container base, which releases a locking mechanism and allows for removal of the cap by lifting or pulling the container cap off from the container base. The components of the modular container system are modular and stackable. The modular system allow for organized, efficient, accessible and storage of the child-resistant containers. The modular container system also allows for easy counting, sorting and processing of the containers.

JAR ASSEMBLY

The present disclosure is related to jars and containers and, more particularly, to the manufacture of readily recyclable jars and containers.

An exemplary jar is comprised of an aluminum base and a first aluminum inner cup provided with a first cavity defined with the aluminum base. An outer thread is provided about an exterior surface of the aluminum base, and an aluminum lid with a second aluminum inner cup is provided within a second cavity defined within the aluminum lid. An inner thread mateable with the outer thread is provided about an interior surface of the second aluminum inner cup.

A method of manufacturing readily recyclable jars can comprise providing a primary metal material and optionally applying a precoating to the primary metal material. The primary metal material may be formed into a jar with mating threads and a lid with mating threads. The primary metal material may optionally be finished. A liner may optionally be inserted. The lid and jar are then assembled, and a plastic cup may optionally be installed.

CONTAINER LID WITH IMPACT ABSORBING ZONES
20230234755 · 2023-07-27 ·

A lid for a container assembly is disclosed. The lid includes a central panel and a peripheral member. The lid further includes impact absorbing zones disposed within an annular lid space formed between the peripheral member and an intermediate wall that interconnects the peripheral member to the central panel. In some embodiments the impact absorbing zones are rigid impact absorbing zones that redirect and redistribute inwardly directed forces that are applied to the lid away from the central panel. In some embodiments, the impact absorbing zones include a plurality of protuberances that extend from the intermediate wall into the annular lid space that are arranged in an alternating pattern with indentation regions that extend inwardly from the intermediate wall. When the forces applied to the lid of the container meet or exceed a predetermined threshold deforming force, at least some of the protuberances may deform thereby further absorbing some of the impact force.

An expandable bowl has an open top and a plurality of configuration changing side members connecting the open top to a base member. The configuration changing side members are designed to allow a user to pull the base member to changing the side members from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration, thereby increasing the overall volume of the bowl. The expandable bowl may be useful for various products, such as pre-packaged salads, where the salads may be packaged and displayed in the collapsed configuration, thereby minimizing shelf space, and may be changed to the expanded configuration by a user to permit tossing of the salad without risking spillage of the contents of the bowl.
