A container undercut is defined in an outer surface of the container sidewall. The closure has a closure sidewall extending between a first closure end and a second closure end. A closure outer sidewall is located radially outward from the closure sidewall and defines a slot between the closure sidewall and the closure outer sidewall. The second container end is received within the slot of the closure. A major projection and a major depression are located between the second container end and the slot of the closure cooperating for securing the closure to the container. A minor projection and a minor depression located between the container sidewall and the closure sidewall for cooperating for additionally securing the closure to the container.

A closure system can be attached to existing paint pails, cans, and other, similar metallic containers. It includes a crimped insert ring attaching to the container and a primary lid, preferably having tamper-evident features. A secondary lid is seated on and seals to the primary lid, with the secondary lid possibly being made partially or completely from plastics, thereby facilitating its ability to reseal the paint container by way of a plug seal. The insert, primary lid, and secondary lid may have one or more annular grooves or ridges to facilitate their attachment to one another.

ANTI-OPENING CONTAINER

An anti-opening container includes a first box and a second box. The first box includes a first body and a first box section. The first body includes a first side wall. The first box section is formed by the extension of the first side wall. The second box includes a second body, a second box section and an extension section. The second body includes a second base and a second side wall. The second box section is formed by the extension of the second side wall.

When the first box and the second box are combined, the first box section is stacked on the second box section. The extension section is formed by the extension of the second side wall, and includes a fastener and a gripping section. When the fastener fits into the first fastening groove, the gripping section is located outside the first fastening groove.

FOOD CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME

Provided are a food container which is formed to have a sealing moiety integrated with a lid or a container body and is not easily deformed when heated by a microwave oven or the like, so as to be capable of keeping a sealed state, and a method for manufacturing the food container. A food container 10 has a container body 11 having, in the upper surface thereof, an opening 111, and a lid 12 fittable to the container body 11 to close the opening 111. In the lid 12 or the container body 11, a sealing moiety 13 is located which makes the periphery of the opening 111 in a sealed state under a situation that the opening 111 is closed by the lid 12. The sealing moiety 13 includes an elastomer composition which includes a hydrogenated styrene based block copolymer A that has a weight-average molecular weight of 100,000 to 500,000, a softener B for rubber that has a weight-average molecular weight of 500 or more, and an olefin based resin C, and which has a hardness A of 5 to 70 both inclusive, and a compressive permanent strain (CS) of 60% or less at 100 C. over 24 hours. The sealing moiety is formed to be integrated with the lid or the container body, and the lid 12 or the container body 11 includes a polypropylene.

The present invention provides a method of collecting a liquid sample using a leak proof, air tight plastic container device. The method comprises placing the sample in the container device, the device comprised of a container, a lid, a lid groove containing a gasket therein which covers and tightens over the rim of the container, a lid flange, and a thin hook in the container containing a second gasket compressed by the lid flange when the lid is closed over the container; and sealing the sample in the container device by engaging the internal screw threads of the lid with the external screw threads of the container and rotating the lid until resistance to rotation is encountered. The method further comprises transporting the sample to a site for analysis, whereby no leakage of the liquid sample and no air seepage into or out of the container occur during transport.

The improved container device of the present invention thus provides two, independent, internal seals that protect the liquid contents therein for extended periods of time, even if the plastic undergoes deformation, during transport, especially air transport, and under varying temperature and atmospheric pressure.
