STORAGE CONTAINER SYSTEMS INCLUDING CONTAINERS AND CORRESPONDING LIDS
A container system includes a container having a plurality of sidewalls and a rim extending from the sidewalls at a top of the container. The rim of the container includes a first sealing part and a second sealing part. Parts of the rim extend along arcs as viewed from above the container. The container system also includes a lid for sealing the container, with the lid having a rim that includes a first sealing part that is configured to contact the first sealing part of the rim of the container to form a first sealing area, and a second sealing part that is configured to contact the second sealing part of the rim of the container to form a second sealing area. Parts of the rim of the lid extend along arcs as viewed from above the lid. The container may be tightly sealed by the lid.
A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEALING A METALLIC CONTAINER WITH A METALLIC END CLOSURE
An apparatus and methods of sealing a metallic container with a metallic end closure are disclosed. The apparatus includes a tool operable to releasably join the closure to the container. In one embodiment, the tool is configured to form a thread in the closure and the container. The tool may optionally crimp the closure to the container. Once sealed, the container can be opened by rotating the closure in an opening direction. The closure can subsequently re-close the container by rotating the closure in a closing direction.
Container lid with castellated cork
In various embodiments, a container lid with a castellated cork seal includes a plurality undulating u-shaped ridges that form peaks and troughs throughout a channel. The undulating u-shaped ridges throughout the channel may provide a surface for receiving a bottom of a separate container in a stacked configuration. In certain embodiments, when the lid is secured on top of a container, the u-shaped ridges protrude downwardly into the container for providing cantilevered support. In particular embodiments, the exemplary container lid includes detachable tear strips along a side wall of the container lid. Removing the tear strips allows access to one or more lift tabs for applying upward leverage to the exemplary container lid for removing the lid from a container.
IMPROVED FLIP TOP PLASTIC LID
A closure for a container is described where the container has an open end and a closed end, the closure being configured to engage the open end of the container, wherein the closure comprises: a collar configured to engage the container; a lid connected to the collar by at least one hinge; wherein to facilitate engagement the collar is configured to extend over and surround the open end of the container such that an inner surface impinges on, or is immediately adjacent to, an outer surface of the open end of the container; characterised in that a plurality of beads extend outwardly from the inner surface of the collar to fixedly hold the collar in engagement with the container, wherein said beads are located substantially uniformly relative to each other and occupy less than 50% of the inner surface of the collar. A container is also described in which is provided with a docking on an inner wall of the collar suitable for releasably suspending a scoop.
Storage container
A storage container includes a container body, a lid, and a dividing member. The container body defines an accommodating space that has a top opening. The lid is removably disposed on the container body, and has two covering sections that cooperatively cover the opening. Each one of the covering sections is independently operable to uncover a part of the opening. The dividing member is removably disposed in the accommodating space for dividing the accommodating space into two compartments.
STORAGE CONTAINER
A storage container includes a container body and a lid that has a first lid portion, a second lid portion, and a hinge portion between the first and second lid portions. Two sides of the hinge portion are formed with a first inclined surface connected to the first lid portion and a second inclined surface connected to the second lid portion, respectively. The first inclined surface is provided with at least one first engaging unit. An outer wall surface of the first engaging unit has a first stopper. The first stopper is parallel to or perpendicular to a horizontal plane of the lid. The second inclined surface is provided with at least one second engaging unit. An inner wall surface of the second engaging unit has a second stopper. The second stopper is perpendicular to or parallel to the horizontal plane, and is perpendicular to the first stopper.
Lid with pylons for supporting cross beams
A lid for a container or tote has a main body with pylons. The pylons are arranged on the lid to provide a first pylon adjacent to a second pylon. The first and second pylons may each have a plurality of platforms that can support and stabilize a cross beam such as a board placed in between them. The platforms may include a first platform, a second platform, and a third platform. The first platform is horizontally spaced apart from the second platform, and the second platform is horizontally spaced apart from the third platform. The first platform is vertically spaced apart from the second platform, and the second platform is vertically spaced apart from the third platform. Corresponding ones of the platforms on the adjacent pylons may be disposed on a same plane so as to provide a planar or flat surface for receiving the cross beam.
SEAL FOR CONTAINER LIDS AND CONTAINER LIDS AND CONTAINER ASSEMBLIES HAVING SAME
A container lid has a top panel defining a top side and an underside opposite the top side; a channel extending annularly around a periphery of the top panel, the channel open toward an underside direction on the lid; and a first wiper seal and a second wiper seal protruding downward from within the channel The first and second wiper seals are spaced apart from one another in a radial direction. When the lid is attached to a container to close off a top opening, the first and second wiper seals contact a surface of a container rim such that the first wiper seal bends radially inward relative to the container rim and the second wiper seal bends radially outward relative to the container rim.
CONTAINER
The present application discloses a container, having a housing with a housing bottom wall and a housing sidewall, and a liner having a liner bottom wall and a liner sidewall. The liner is detachably connected to the housing sidewall, so that the liner is received in the housing chamber. At least a portion between the housing sidewall and the liner sidewall has a gap therebetween. This application discloses a double-layer container having a liner and a housing detachable with each other, so that the housing can use a combination of different shapes of the liner. At the same time, the liner of the container in the present application is made of a flexible material to facilitate cleaning of the liner. On the other hand, the double-layer container of the present application can directly use the liner as a seal, which is convenient for cleaning.
INJECTION MOLDED CONTAINER ARTICLES AND METHODS
