AREA SCANNING AND BAIT DISTRIBUTION FOR FISHING
The present disclosure relates to methods and systems concerning a fishing sonar apparatus, computer program carriers and a vessel for scanning a body of water by a fishing sonar module and also to distribution of bait by the vessel.
The method comprises obtaining a first set of instructions comprising location data of a first location and obtaining a second set of instructions comprising one or more predefined criteria. The method further comprises performing at least one sonar scan in the first location by means of a sonar module comprised in the fishing sonar apparatus and obtaining sonar data associated with the at least one sonar scan in the first location. The obtained sonar data comprises at least one characteristic of the first location to be compared with the one or more criteria. The method further comprises identifying, based on the sonar data and the one or more predefined criteria, one or more second location(s) being substantially comprised in the first location, wherein the sonar data comprises sonar data associated with the one or more second location. In some further aspects, the method comprises obtaining a first set of instructions comprising location data of a first location and sonar data associated with at least one sonar scan performed in the first location and transmitting a signal, based on the first set of instructions, indicating a first type of bait to be dispensed in the first location, to a bait-dispensing module of the fishing sonar apparatus.

Dredge with replaceable arms
A dredge having easily replaceable arms, a composite dredge which is configurable to laterally couple at least two hubs, and methods for using the same are provided. In one embodiment, a dredge includes plurality of arms having at least one teaser attachment and hub configured to removably retain the arms in a radial orientation. The hub includes a retainer cap configured to removably mate with a body in a manner that captures a first end of each of the plurality of arms to the hub in a cantilevered orientation. The arms are freely replaceable from the body upon the removal of the cap.

Bait container and variable dispenser
A container for dispensing bait in variable amounts and at variable rates. A method can include changing configurations of two attachable sleeves, where the different configurations result in different overlapping of openings in the attachable sleeves. The different overlapping of openings allows fishermen the flexibility to better control the dispensing of bait and/or chum by varying the size of the openings.

Chum bobber
A chum bobber with a first member comprising an integrated buoyancy chamber and a first coupling apparatus and a second member comprising a chum chamber and a second coupling apparatus for physically coupling to the first coupling apparatus. The first and second coupling apparatus are adapted for coupling the first member and the second member and thereby trapping chum into the second member while isolating the chum from the first member.

Breakaway crab snare apparatus
A crab snare apparatus that is adapted to breakaway cleanly from the crab's grip without disturbing the crab's position over the snare loops, thereby making the snaring of crabs more certain.
