The present invention provides a chum dispenser that could be used to dispense chum under water and at desired depth. The chum dispenser allows dispensing the chum in a concentrated area under the water, which is desired for luring fish. The chum dispenser comprises a container with a snap-fit lid. The container is further coupled to the lid through a rigid line such that the container and lid are movable with respect to each other in open state and the container could turn over to dispense the chum. The dispenser is suspended through a flexible line, which could be jerked by hand to open the lid of dispenser and dispense the chum in water.

HYBRID CHUMMER AND CHUNKER APPARATUS

In one embodiment of the present invention there is provided a hybrid chummer and chunker apparatus that has a cage, a removably top section that can be secured to the cage and a bottom end cap that is configured to move away from the bottom end of the cage when submerged in water and when the top of the apparatus is pulled or yanked through the water. The apparatus further includes a tension spring secured between the top section and the bottom end cap, the tension spring configured to permit the bottom end cap to move away from the bottom end of the cage when submerged in water and when the apparatus is pulled through the water with a force that exceeds a force exerted by the tension spring.

Scent producing material may be placed in the bait chamber. A blowhole tunnel passes through the lure body from the lure body head to the bait chamber. Motion of the lure forces water through the blowhole into the bait chamber and carries scent from scent producing material through holes in the hatch. A first groove in the lure body tail is configured such that an O-ring in the first groove holds the hatch against the lure body. A second groove in the lure body tail is configured such that when the O-ring is in the second groove, the hatch is free to open and close.
