Self-closing flip-spout cap
A cap including a cap body and a spout hingedly connected to the cap body and moveable relative to the cap body between at least a first position and a second position, wherein the spout in magnetically biased to the first position.
ASEPTIC PACKAGE FLUID DISPENSING APPARATUS
Disclosed are apparatus for dispensing a liquid from within a flexible package and a method of dispensing a liquid from within a flexible package. The apparatus comprises a fitment and a piercing member. The fitment is secured to a wall of the flexible package and has a passageway extending through it and a screw-thread section. The piercing member has a passageway extending through it, a piercing tip, and a screw-thread section. The piercing member is configured for insertion in the passageway of the fitment, with the screw-thread sections engaging each other to cause the piercing tip to penetrate the package, whereupon the liquid within the package can flow into and through the piercing member.
Extendable Pouring Device and Method of Using Same
A pouring device for pouring material from a container and method of using same are disclosed. The pouring device is movable between open and closed configurations. An embodiment provides a pouring device that includes a main body which comprises a main body portion, an attachment portion, and at least two hinges which connect to at least two movable walls extending angularly from the main body to form a conduit when the pouring device is in the open configuration. Another embodiment provides a pouring device that has a central portion rigidly connecting two walls. The attachment portion is placed within the container below an upper plane of a rim of the container. Embodiments foster a pouring solution that can be easily and quickly mounted within a container and that allows a user to close the container while the pouring device is mounted entirely within the container.
Drink bottle
A drink bottle comprises a container and a lid. The lid is removably connected to an open end of the container. A resiliently flexible drinking spout or straw assembly is mounted in the lid. An actuator for actuating a function of the drink bottle is slidably mounted to the lid for sliding movement between a home position and an actuation position. The actuator has a push face accessible from outside the lid for receiving finger pressure for displacing the actuator from the home position toward the actuation position for performing a function of the drink bottle. The actuator has a bearing surface in bearing engagement with the spout or straw assembly such that movement of the actuator from the home position towards the actuation position resiliently deforms the spout or straw assembly and by the resilient deformation the actuator is biased towards the home position.
CONTAINER, CONTAINER CLOSURE AND REFILL CONTAINER
The invention relates to a container closure (100) having a base body (20) for fastening to a container. A discharge opening (21) and a refill opening (22) are arranged in the base body (20). The refill opening (23) is closed by means of a plug (30).
Lid assembly for a package, lid-spout group for a package and package having a lid-spout group
A lid assembly comprises a coupling ring, a lid and a connecting unit connecting the lid to the coupling ring. The lid comprises a cover wall configured to cover a pouring outlet and a sealing ring protruding away from the cover wall and configured to interact with a collar carrying the pouring outlet to seal the pouring outlet. The sealing ring comprises at least a first ring portion and a second ring portion. The first ring portion comprises a first end spaced apart from the cover wall and the second ring portion comprises a second end spaced apart from the cover wall. A first distance of the first end from the cover wall with respect to a normal axis of the cover wall is greater than a second distance of the second end from the cover wall with respect to the normal axis.
LID
Disclosed herein are systems and methods for a lid assembly for a beverage container including a lid body having a central channel formed therein and defining a first aperture that extends longitudinally therethrough. The lid assembly further includes a lower flipper rotatably coupled to the lid body, the lower flipper defining a second aperture and a third aperture which extend longitudinally therethrough. A plug is coupled to the lower flipper and defines a fourth aperture that extends longitudinally therethrough. A seal is disposed within and covers the fourth aperture.
CLOSURE
A tamper-evident closure (1) is provided and comprises a base (10) and a lid (50). The base comprises a sidewall (14) and an outer wall (30a) which is radially outwards of the sidewall. The closure comprises a tamper-evident member (56) which is initially frangibly attached to the lid. Upon first opening of the lid the tamper-evident member is released from the lid and falls between the sidewall and the outer wall.
ASEPTIC PACKAGE FLUID DISPENSING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF DISPENSING LIQUIDS FROM FLEXIBLE PACKAGES
PORTABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER CONTAINING A MIXER
A portable disposable beverage container for the storing and sale of a prefilled beverage mixer additive. The container is intended to be attached to an opened aluminum can of beverage and then when opened for dispensing, provide independent simultaneous dispensing of both the canned beverage and the mixer additive either directly into one's mouth, or into another drinking vessel to create a mixed drink for consumption.
